The walls would be able to recount the triumphs and heartbreaks of the lords and ladies who once walked the halls of the castle. The battles were fierce, but the feasts were grand, and the whispers of courtly intrigue were always present. The lords and ladies were always in competition for power and prestige, but their triumphs and heartbreaks were no less real for it. The walls would remember it all.
