If Walls Could Talk
If walls could talk, I would tell you the story of the old, abandoned building on the outskirts of town. I have been standing here for over a hundred years, watching the world change around me. Through the years, I have seen the best and worst of humanity, and every event that has happened in front of me, I have etched into my memory.

If Walls Could Talk...
If walls could talk, what do you think they would say? Would the words be kind? Would lives be ruined perhaps? Could the walls tell jokes or regale us with clever and funny anecdotes? Well, all the above to be honest! My name is Holly, Holly Hotel. Nice to meet you.

Yours and Mine
If walls could talk, I would tell you this: I've been there since the beginning, before there was ever a you. I remember your parents stepping into my vacant room for the first time. They were young then, so young. Your mother walked around smiling, glancing from me to the other light gray walls. "This would make such a cute nursery," she told your father.

If Walls Could Talk
If walls could talk, I was born in 1993 in a dark hallway that was filled with arguments and anger. During this time, I had my stomach ripped out twice by the husband during a fit of rage. They had me filled back up with spackle, but I haven’t felt whole since. It wasn’t a big home during this time it felt even smaller.

Being is Enough. Runner-Up in If Walls Could Talk.
If walls could talk. Some people look at a wall and think there could be nothing worse than staying in one place your entire life. Never moving, never going, never leaving. “Life’s about getting out of your comfort zone” and all that.

The Breakup
If walls could talk…. This kitchen is a room of damaging heartbreak. Among the refrigerator, stove and other convenient appliances sits our couple at the kitchen table they argued over light brown wood or glass tabletop. It was glass because Avery always won every single argument. Tyler sat sullen as he waited to gather his thoughts. His hands were gripping the handle to his mug of coffee so tightly you wouldn’t be able to pry it from his hands.

Let Us Tell You About Our People
If walls could talk, they say. We do. Made out of grass, sticks and cow dung, we are. We fear nothing but the rain, yes, the rain. When it falls dimly she's our friend, but when it pours angrily with those thick drops of life, sometimes we break and sometimes we die.

These Walls Talk, but will you Listen
“If these walls could talk” is usually a phrase associated with tawdry thoughts, normally associated with hotel rooms (fancy and by the hour alyke) or places with great historical significance. The Berlin Wall, what remains of it anyway, for example, has a ton to say, and by the way, won’t shut up about it. Surprisingly, walls in psychiatrists’ offices have probably the least interesting things to talk about. For every person who believes he was a horse or some shit in their past life, there are thousands upon thousands of self-indulging twats complaining about not being hugged enough or seen, whatever that means.

The Lighthouse Keeper
If walls could talk, would anyone even listen? I've got secrets I couldn't tell anyone. Not a soul. Nor a stranger. Or ones I'm even familiar with. Tears from the ocean splash against me during a bad storm. Or when the evening tide comes home.
