Love
Dear Valentine, I Hate You
Chapter 1 The last thing Chance wanted was to be there, in that auditorium, in that school really, getting ready to perform. If you should even say the word “perform” about a five minute skit for English class. He was backstage, and paced among the old costumes and half broken down sets from the previous school production. It was dimly lit where he was, but it had to be, to counteract the harsh brightness of the stage lights that shone so they blinded you. He didn’t mind though, he was glad it was, so no one could see how pale he was or how much he was sweating. Other than those two uncontrollable natural responses, Chance showed no other signs that he was nervous. He had no nervous tick, other than his pacing that could testify to his impatience, and his face showed no fear; it was a blank slate. It normally was. In all his time at Washington High School, Chance’s peers had only seen three facial expressions painted on him at all times; anger, annoyance, and nothing- emotionless.

Sender Unknown
Objectively, there was nothing suspicious about the package. Delivered by drone, with an innocent looking return address, no sender's name, and plain brown packaging, there was nothing to set it apart from thousands of other packages delivered daily to doorsteps around the country. No suspicious noises from inside, no unexplained movement, odd smells or ominious ticking. No warning signs whatsoever. Just a single parcel delivered to their house by an unidentified drone.

Medusa and the Blind Woman
“Oh how beautiful! What do you think?” As if showing off a new dress, Aphrodite picked up in her hands, a miniature likeness of a beautiful woman, donning a simple blue gown, who seemed to fall to the side from being jostled by the large goddess. The nymphs she spoke to nodded in approval, but were rewarded with a disappointed head shake. “You wouldn’t know would you? Well. I know. And she’s going to be perfect!” The goddess bit her lip in excitement, sliding the little body off her hand slowly, until it fell downward and downward still, before sinking into the Aegean.

No Where They Could Run
Chapter 1 From The Eye and Ears of a Dragon A mother dragon was gathering food for feeding her newborn young when she found what appeared to be an abandoned toddler wondering alone in the forest. Immediately her motherly instinct was to take it and protect it from the robots or the male dragons, but out of fear that it was a trap she stopped herself. Robots were known for luring and trapping mother dragons so they could capture their babies only for them to never be seen again.

Dragons Recompense
Zarel, the dragon, flew back from his escapade of plunder, destruction, and hunting. His hunting was something more fierce though. He was without mercy, compassion, and love. His hunt had destroyed an entire village in a clearing just outside the forest he knew as his home. He flew back with the taste of vengeance in his heart, a good feeling to him.

The First Dragon Rider
They were coming for him. They could feel it in his aching bones. They were close, gathering pace. The sound of branches cracking underneath heavy footfalls. The neighing of horses being spurred on in urgency. Faster, he had to ride faster. There was no telling He had managed to cross the border into Kalecura, escaping Venador, but the Imperial troops were keeping pace. Aldor had carried him and the child for a full day's ride and while his trusty companion would never complain, Dorian knew the beast was beginning to tire.
