Eye Of The Dragon
There weren’t always dragons in the valley. When Alexis had first heard of dragons, it was from the mouth of a dying man. Living high and alone in the mountains ringing the Rikward valley, he was too secluded, too ill to make the journey down to Aenescumb, the town, and closest doctor, down below.

The Barren
“There weren't always dragons in the Valley”. Not exactly the statement you expect to see carved into the wall inside a laboratory complex. This is the third facility in the Barren I have come across, and by far the largest and most promising. I know the answers are here, somewhere here, I know it. These are the Shin-Ro facility ruins where they conducted their god-awful experiments. There has to be answers here, there must be. Reading Thane’s dairy again, the poor man who I can only assume carved the message, I can’t help but feel I am missing something.

Static
Static The sound of car alarms, yelling, and wisps of voices ricocheted down every alley, avenue, and engulfed the city in a never-ending sound of static. The underground subway rumbled the ground so hard some people swear it could split the earth in two. Neon light after neon light lit up late night windows all begging for a passerby to stop in for a quick drink that would spiral into a night of intoxication. High heels crackled against the ground as laughter rose around the 15 story buildings that surrounded this “15 Places to Visit Before You Die” city.

My deepest fears now confirmed that I was to blame, of all the ones who have gone the same way before. Carrier of the disease, survivor that I am, immunity a blessing and a curse. On the day of Hypomone, the fall of Constantinople and the death of Constantine XI, so we celebrate the birth of the helpful, Ruin of the twenty first year. With décor and aesthetic of the macabre, beauty and of fear.

A World Unplugged
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley, let alone much of anything. The valley was aptly named the Valley of Dust due to the acid rain melting the once marvellous canyon away. In the centre of the valley lay a bubbling lake of hydrochloric acid. The green lake acting as one of the few, surviving marvels of colour left on the surface of the ammonium rich planet of Esper; my homeworld.

It Wasn't a Dream
The knife pierced my skin and plunged deep into my left shoulder. A white, hot, searing pain engulfed my whole body and mind. My vision turned to slow motion and for a split-second, I felt I might collapse. My adrenaline however, made me do the opposite. In one fluid motion, my hands reached for his chest and grabbed fistfuls of clothing. I yanked my hands back and struck his nose with my forehead, sending another, milder, signal of pain to my brain. He reeled back, hands flying as he stumbled, leaving the knife in my shoulder.

Welcome to Camp Moonlight
Welcome to Camp Moonlight I It all began on a hot summer's day. A new camp was being constructed. A camp that would one day be home to both boys, and girls. The boys would be on one side of the lake, and the girls on the other. Little did they know that this camp would have a dark history. But time would soon prove to that. Time would prove to all things that things are not always what they appear to be. But seem to be more than what they actually are.
