Holiday
Beneath the Winter Moon
The snow fell softly, a steady rhythm of silence blanketing the small town of Evergreen Hollow. The streetlights cast an amber glow over cobblestone streets, where the first few carolers of the evening bundled tightly in scarves and woolen hats. Their laughter echoed, cutting through the crisp, cold air as they trudged from house to house, their voices weaving harmonies of comfort and cheer.

Thanksgiving Dinner. Content Warning.
One chilly November evening, there was a family celebrating Thanksgiving in their barn, surrounded by a forest. Nicole, a 32 year old woman was looking for her younger sister, 26 year old Sierra, as their mother was working on setting up the table for their family's Thanksgiving dinner. After a few times of calling Sierra's name with no response, Nicole tried to call Sierra's phone. The phone started ringing about 10 feet away from her, in the grass. After walking over near the phone, Nicole noticed a red liquid and she froze as she realized that it had blood on it.

The Invisible Man
People love gore, as long as it's happening to someone else. For the first time, Sandy resented her followers. Daily, more of them were siding with Karl on this issue, while she, Sandy, was still furious at him. She thought her husband was sick, and needed psychiatric help. They thought he was funny. And clever. Quirky. They'd nicknamed him "Tim". The Invisible Man, see? The man they never saw. It added to his mystique.

The Snow Globe's Secret
The snow fell softly, blanketing the small town of Evergreen in a layer of shimmering white. In a cozy corner of town stood Clara’s Curiosities, a charming shop filled with oddities, antiques, and treasures collected from around the world. Clara Statham, the shop’s owner, was a reserved woman with an eye for the unique. Her most prized possession sat on a small pedestal in the center of the store—a snow globe unlike any other.

Over the River
Over the River D. A. Ratliff Cameron and I belted out the old folk song, “Over the River and Through the Woods,” as we traveled to my parents’ house with Peaches, the Golden Retriever howling along. It was a good thing we were driving to North Carolina so no one could hear us as we weren’t the best singers.

The Jolly Man in Red
The Jolly Man in Red, known worldwide as Santa Claus, embodies the spirit of generosity, joy, and goodwill. But Santa Claus is more than just a figure in a red suit; he represents a timeless tradition that transcends cultural boundaries and continues to evolve with each generation.

A Song By The Fire
Chapter 1: The Bond of the Forest Ethan and Lila’s friendship began in a small, sleepy town nestled between vast stretches of forest and shimmering lakes. They met when they were only three years old, their families brought together by the town’s annual summer festival. From the very start, they were inseparable. Summers were spent camping under starry skies, their laughter blending with the rustle of leaves and the crackle of campfires. They made up songs while roasting marshmallows, often singing their favorite, “Under the Open Sky,” a melody they crafted together about freedom and friendship. Even as they grew older, the innocence of those evenings by the fire remained their sanctuary from the world. No matter what life threw their way, they knew the forest and their bond were unchanging constants.
