The Gods behind the Bar
The scales always sway back into balance. He slammed back a beer as the jukebox in the corner of this well-out-of-the-way hole in the wall cranked out some Judas Priest. Another dusty beer and a shot of Jack appeared without a word, as if by magic. They called him Theo in these parts, which was as good a name as any. He’d been on the run so long that it didn’t matter anymore.

To Steal a Thunderbolt
"You want to steal Zeus's thunderbolt?" Loki asked incredulously after listening patiently to his old friend Jupiter's ridiculously insane plan to sneak into Olympus and snare the God kings most powerful weapon. "That is quite possibly the dumbest idea I have ever heard, and your plan has about as much chance of working as Hera taking Athena as a lover on the side. And, if you were caught, would make Zeus exactly as angry. I shudder to think what he might do to you, or Hades forbid, me, if the plan fails as spectacurlarly as it surely will in its current form." Jupiter was unfazed by Loki's initial reaction. He was always a pessimist, and quick to temper, and he had suspected this would be the trickster God's immediate response. However, he knew the idea of it would be impossible for Loki to resist, and he also knew Loki was smart, very smart, especially when it came to theiving, and he hoped his input, and, ideally, participation in the heist, would better his own chances of success. With Zeus's thunderbolt in his hands, Olympus could finally be rid of their ancient, failed, so called king, and become his to rule.

"Wings of Reflection: A Sufi Journey through Dozakhnama"
In the timeless realms of the heavens, where the ethereal meets the earthly, a mesmerizing tale unfolded. It was a story that transcended the boundaries of time and space, brought to life in the conversations between two legendary souls, Mirza Ghalib and Saadat Hasan Manto, in the depths of the fiery abyss known as Dozakhnama. Ghalib, the eloquent poet with a heart steeped in mysticism, and Manto, the fearless writer unafraid to peel back the layers of truth, found themselves in an extraordinary encounter within the realms of hell. As they conversed, their words resonated with wisdom and touched the very depths of their beings. One particular story within the infernal depths captivated their souls—the tale of Si Murgh, the seven birds yearning to unravel the essence of their existence. Drawn by the mystic melody of their search for truth, Ghalib and Manto leaned in, their hearts attuned to the whispers of wisdom that emanated from the story. In the story of Si Murgh, the birds' longing to discover the truth about their purpose in this world, their quest for the identity of their divine creator, took flight. Peacock, with its regal display of colors, symbolized the beauty and grandeur of creation. Nightingale, with its soulful melodies, represented the eternal longing that resided within every being. Once upon a time, in the mystical realms of the heavens, there existed a group of seven birds known as the Si Murgh. Each of these birds possessed a unique beauty and sang melodies that enraptured all who heard them. The Si Murgh were not ordinary birds, for they were endowed with a deep curiosity and a burning desire to understand the purpose of their existence.

In the field Jungle, fortune, light The blade of the shovel struck neither stone nor dirt, but a peculiar metallic sound echoed. The sandy-blond-headed boy placed his shovel aside and bent down. He could feel the wet dirt against his skin and reached into the hole he had diligently dug. His hands found the thick piece of double-wrapped cloth, and he kept digging with his hands in the soft, moist dirt. Wet clay and dirt clamored under his nails, his hands browned with the soil sticking lightly to them. Dillon dug, clearing the cloth, and gently removed the dingy sack from its layer.
