Lilac Scented Dreams (7)
I haven’t talked to Noah for about a week now, he’s been avoiding me ever since I brought up the name Drussela. I don’t understand why he ran off like that. I think that maybe it is an ex’s name or something. I want to ask him but whenever he sees me he goes in the opposite direction. I've been alone without him, no one to really talk to and vent to. I can talk to Savannah but she’s always been judgy and mostly wants to talk about herself. Sitting on the couch pondering what I could have done wrong. I grab for a book to try to stop my mind from racing. Suddenly I get cold and get shivers. It's 95 degrees out, the sun shining and not a cloud in the sky, why am I cold.

The Brink of Eternity
THE BRINK OF ETERNITY The girl let the phone drop on the table and kept staring at it until the screen went out. It was the fourth time in the past few weeks that she saw her plans overturned because of Damian, who had to cover for a co-worker. What bothered her most, however, was the fact that he could not, or rather did not want to say “no”. Once, when she upbraided him that the job was the main thing in his life, Damian smiled at her and replied, “It's true that I always have my work in mind, but it's just as true that I always have you in my heart!” But today this thing was going south really fast. Dana, her colleague, was given two invitations for a concert at a night club for which she had designed the marketing flyers. She could not go because she was going out of town that weekend to attend a cousin's wedding and she gave the invitations to her. Neither she nor Damian were big fans of alternative rock, but she hadn't been to a concert in a long time, and she wanted to change the atmosphere anyway. Anyways, she did not want to go it alone, and her options to find a companion in the next two hours were extremely limited.

DEATH
The most confusing moment of my memories is just after death, I remember very well having died. I was 23 years old, I wasn't very sociable but once you knew me, you would like my company, at least that's what I thought. Anyway, I ended my life, I cut my wrists, I could no longer bear the suffering, the rejection and contempt. Nobody appreciated me, I gave everything for everyone and nobody sought me out, they preferred the friendship of others to my friendship. Whenever they needed me, I was there and I always aimed to please and ended up being rejected when they no longer needed me, so I decided to take my life.

Chapter 23: Dragonfly's Lessons
Sarah woke the next morning by a small tapping on her shoulder. At first, she just shifted and stirred under her blankets. A moment later she felt another tap that she could not ignore. She rolled over to see who was annoying her first thing in the morning. She opened her eyes to see Dragonfly looking at her. She pulled the blanket up and tucked it securely under chin.

Oblivion
Have you ever thought about what makes people forget? What's changing them? It's a story of a boy who more or less concerns us all, and we can all tell it, somehow. That's what Adam was like. Strange man, though quite young. He was looking for mystery in all parts of his life. He always saw the background and always analyzed the personality of every person he knew. He was always trying to figure out what evidence everyone was hiding inside, the most hidden, the things that not everyone can see with the naked eye.

The Owl Who Knew My Name
I watched as they left her in this old barn. It wasn’t run-down and tattered. Still fairly new and was built around a 30-ft tree. But it has been abandoned for a while… So as the tree went through the phases with the weather so did the barn. But I don’t think that was really their concern right now. As they placed her right under a branch that had just enough leaves to cover her, they left in a flash. Not before saying their goodbyes, however. Tears in their eyes they looked at her longingly before saying:

Citizen of the Night
Evenfall brought with it the shield of darkness that Sorro found himself craving more and more, so often in fact he felt his desire for it's protection as soon as the sun had risen; a place to learn, a place to hide, but mostly- a place of escape. There was freedom in this blanket of stars which fell each night, oh yes...but he'd remembered his teachings well enough.

The Tyto Alba returneth
He's Back The familiar sound awakened me from a deep slumber so I sat up to pay close attention. It was real and I was not dreaming and it chilled me to the bone. I was hearing a sound in the night that had not been heard in over a year. It jolted me out of bed and I put on my robe and walked barefoot out the back door. The last time this noise invaded my atmosphere was the night before we got the call that my great grandfather had passed away.
