Adventure
I Am A Dragon Killer
There weren't always dragons in the valley. It used to be a trade route. The King's gold flowed freely down the river Acheron, and then it didn't. Even from the mountaintops I could see the glitter of the dragon's hoard. And now, I stand in the middle of it. King's gold, Myrian gold, Askan silver, jewels of every shade and color.

Hunted
"There weren't always dragons in the Valley," Taaglon stated quietly as he gazed out across the verdant expanse, seated atop a moss-covered boulder. Rimmed by high, majestic mountains, cut long ago when titans ruled the world and fashioned it according to their whims, the Sauchill Valley had drawn what was left of his kin.

Hello friends! This is the first time I’ll be writing a full-length story instead of a smaller research piece! If you haven’t heard of me, my name is Jess, and I go by AGoreJessStone online. Sun Veiled
There weren't always dragons in the valley. The lush crescent shaped isle of Avira was home to many creatures, but dragons only arrived a few millennia ago, when a crackling portal opened on the northern crest of Mount Myokin. At least, that is what the stories of old say. Scrolls worn by age, stashed away in the Temple of Roe, tell of the emergence of the large winged shapeshifters who sought a new home in these lands after being cast out of their own by a vengeful deity.

Angelica's Dragon
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. I didn’t always sleep under the stars. The day they came started the same as any other. I rose early in the morning and got ready for the long day ahead. The cows needed milking, the chickens’ feed had to be laid, and their eggs collected into the old wire basket of my mother’s mother. I was out the door as the first early rays of summer stretched over the horizon like stray hairs brushed by the breeze.

Home of the Misacc
There weren't always dragons in the valley. Since I could remember, no one was allowed to travel to the land of Kiah. For decades all the elders told stories about the land of Kiah. How all the dragons roamed that land, still miles from our village, we could hear the cries of the beasts. Though, tonight I listened to the creatures bellowing for what seemed like ages.

Welcome to your new home
There weren't always dragons in the valley. At least that's what mom said. But as I cupped my hands in front of my eyes, I used my makeshift hand binoculars to try and see one for myself. Everyone else was terrified that the rumours were true, but I was eager to see one up close. Mom said someone probably made the whole thing up, but I knew she just hated to think that it might be true. That it wasn't just a lie told to scare, or entertain, the town kids.

Pandoran
Reminiscence Chalim was old, but his eyes were much older. Each wrinkle in his valleyed face held a story. experienced much at the end of the third age and the beginning of the fourth. He recently gave up his partisan spear, a loyal guard to the King for nearly eighty-eight years now. His ability with a weapon was no longer a measure of significance but then again, he hadn’t ever been much of a soldier as much as he was living history, he was one of the only remaining heroes left to tell the tale.
