Adventure
The Canopy
From up high, the clearing was just a green speck of hope in a sea of death. Theta was the first to spot it, and motioned to her pack mates – Leo, Ty and Rainer. The group eased up, spreading out their wing suits to fall back into a tighter formation. For them, flight was no longer a gift. It was a necessity.

Chapter 2
It was a fine-looking afternoon, slightly misty and cool. It was the perfect time of day and reminded Carter of his home as he walked down an old trail. But it ended as the smell of death stained the air and the sight of human corpses mangled beyond recognition, some having their limbs torn off.

The Hidden Beach
The rhythmic sound of the waves could be heard through the tall pine trees that keep the small beach hidden. Sadie had found the trail one day when her car broke down alongside the road. When she was told that the tow truck would take hours to get there, she decided that she couldn’t wait around in her well loved Subaru. Now, it’s the perfect place to leave her car when she needed time by herself. The trail to the beach was overgrown and slippery with mud. The drizzle in the morning had turned into a steady rain. The trees did little to protect the ground from the rain, but it did provide the right amount of shelter for the wild blackberried to grow. Sadie kept her rain jacket zipped up as she climbed over fallen trees and jumped over the slow slugs that were crossing the dirty trail.

I Am Stanley
They say that even the most far-fetched fiction is based on at least a little bit of reality. ‘They’ weren’t lying. I don’t know why I feel the need to write this down, but it’s a story that needs to be told. Right now, I’m sitting on a bench at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, the funnel cake stand to my right and the shaved ice stand to my left. The pungent salt breeze moving lazily over the Pacific tickles my nose, and the sun shines down bright upon the page. It’s been a year since that fateful night when my crazy new life began.

Gorroson
Sorriere's black sands drifted into the crystal blue waters of the Khymian Sea. The contrast between land and water was breathtaking, making it a distraction to the continent's barren land. No plant-life grew here, except for a few sparse oasis' that attracted the few animals that could survive the heat and the fury of the dragons who nested here. While the soil was highly enriched by the dragons' fire, it also grew to a deathly level of heat which is why the dragons bred and laid their eggs here.
