The Secret in the Attic
The old house at the end of the street had been empty for years. Rumors circulated about why no one would buy it - some mostly said it was haunted, others said it was cursed. The Lost City of Zanara
The thick, dense jungle loomed before them, shrouded in an impenetrable mist that obscured everything beyond the first few feet of foliage. Taking Flight
"The land looked so flat from above," I found myself thinking as my eyes peered out the window at the grasslands below. Everything looked so small in comparison. Of course everything would look so small when comparing it to being tens of thousands of feet in the air, wouldn't it? God. I had to have spelled the distance out. Letting out a short breath, I closed the shade about halfway and leaned back in my seat. The screen in front of me had a map of our location playing on an endless loop. Most people would probably prefer to choose from the great selections of in-flight movies they advertised as we boarded, but for some (odd) reason I preferred this. Although I have a minor fear of heights, I also have a fear of flying... so it's a little bit calming being able to know where we are exactly in the sky. Or even where exactly we'd be located if we were to be shown a map of the country. Although, I won't lie. Sometimes the map is a nightmare; especially when that little plane icon starts to fly above a body of water.

Flight of Fear
Paula gripped her arm rests as the "fasten seatbelt" sign flashed overhead, willing the turbulence to stop. People weren't meant to fly. If they were, they'd have been born with wings. Three months ago, nothing in the world could have gotten her on an airplane. She was content to keep both feet firmly planted on the ground, thank you very much. That was before she met Adam Knight.
