Suppose Me

Norah was sitting on the balcony terrace alone. She was looking for fresh air at night while seeing the stars and moon in the night sky. However, somehow this night was very different. Her heart was beating fast until she squished her hands. She was closing her eyes to what had happened in her mind. It turned out she was overthinking about her past period. She admitted to having regret in the past.

In high school, she never tried anything. She preferred hanging out with her friends and spending time with her boyfriend rather than studying. In her mind, studying was a boring thing. So, she didn’t pass the prestige of the university, and eventually she studied on a private campus.

While at university, she never joined an organization or activity on the student campus. She also never tried new things. After class, she spent time dating with her boyfriend one campus. She thought follow activity campus was exist unless and wasted of time. But, her academic scores were good at least no repeat her courses studied.

What happened was she didn’t expect that her boyfriend was cheating with her best friend in high school who was on a different campus named Rita. The reason for her boyfriend cheated was because he was very bored with Norah. Honestly, she was very heartbroken, and the friendship between Norah and Rita was cutting off forever.

“Why must I know him from high school? The friendship should’ve been great instead, it became stranded. If I could see the future, I wouldn’t date him.” Norah said.

She felt haunted by her past period full of regret. She dripped her tears while blaming herself, “If only time could be turned back, I would change everything. I studied truly and did no dating.”

Now, the rice has become porridge which means she couldn’t change her fate in the past. She just received herself now. “Even I can work in the office like my friends have a good position, If I study and join campus activities.” She said with jealously looking her friends more successful than her. She was working as a salesgirl at a cosmetic store.

Norah was crying sobbing again. “I am so upset with myself. I hate myself!”

She shuffled her hair. “I feel foolish and fail in my life!” Norah got mad with herself which she could not control. She got into the apartment to satisfy her emotions.

She sat on the sofa while crying. “Especially, love is very hurtful! He was betraying me behind my back. He’s a shit man! Norah got mad more. Previously, love was sweet like chocolate with a couple and now bitter like salt.

Besides that, she never listened to advice from her parents because she did lazy studying. She was very naughty in high school and like truant in the subject of mathematics until her score mathematics was very bad. She was breaking the rules wore shirt sexy skirt and fight teacher because she did make up when the teacher explained learning materials.

Her parents were often called to school because Norah’s behavior was problematic in school. However, Norah’s parents chose to give up because they weren’t able to deal with her behavior. “If I had listened to their advice, I wouldn’t like this as my fate.” Norah said. The human has felt regret in the past like Norah. We couldn’t improve in the past and focus on our future.
