Being Adult

Meet a little girl is who telling about daily adult in the park

By Mirda GPublished 12 months ago 3 min read

I sat in the park alone. The wind that was blowing at night was very strong until it penetrated my skin. I saw the moon scatter the stars in the night sky. Besides that, I saw light buildings in the capital city.

“Ugh!!!” I breathed a sigh. I was so tired from work in the office earlier. I made a mistake at the office today until I got scolded by my boss. It was suck for me!

I looked at the long distance, and there was a group of children playing in the park with their expressions fully happy. “They are playing without thinking about stress and daily finance. They are just thinking about playing with their friends and studying in school. It’s different, many demands.” I said.

I sighed at myself. I thought when I was in childhood being an adult was very pleasant because I could buy anything and get it for free. But, when I’m being an adult, I currently have a lot of pressure, less sleep, and tiredness.

I felt that I had many friends, but more adult friendships were very little because some friends had gotten married, busy working, and not frequently like before. Yeah, that’s the adult world!

The routine adult people were waking up early in the morning to and from work and taking a rest at home. The next day the routine returns to normal. Hufft, I’d rather be a child who spent time playing and watching TV. Most stress was just study subject mathematics in school.”

“If I had machine time, I would go back to my childhood.” I said.

“Excuse me, may I sit beside you?” Suddenly, I looked at a little girl with black hair wearing two pigtails. She looked 5 years old with his beautiful face, cute, and tiny red lips.

“Yes, of course.” I smiled. She sat right next to me.

This little girl looked at me with her black eyeball. She asked, “What are you doing here alone?

“I’m doing this to refresh my mind. I got scolded by my boss because I was making a mistake about my work.”

“But did you cry when your boss scolds you?”

I answered, “No, I didn’t cry. I must be strong, although it’s extremely exhausting.”

“Why are adult people very exhausted?”

I answered, “Because being an adult has many dependents. Add more problems happened ,such as lost friends, many activities than rest, and life demands.”

“Huft, it turned out being an adult is very hard. I’d rather be a kid forever because I can play with friends as much and always cheerful than an adult often sigh.” Her grumbled.

She was innocent. I stroked her hair. “You don’t say it like that, beautiful girl. It’s not forever keep being a kid. That’s a normal adult people sigh. Someday, you will be adult people like me.”

She nodded, “Oh, I see.”

I advised her, “You have to study hard so that you will be a success when you grow up.”

“Yes, of course. When I am an adult, I want to be proud of my parents.” She said.

“Definitely, sweetie!” I exclaimed.

The girl stood. “I’m sorry I have to go now because my mommy is looking for me.”

I said, smiling, “Yes, little girl. Don’t forget my advice.” While stroking her hair.

“Bye, see you!” She waved her hands to me while smiling. I replied with her smile. I looked at she ran until far out of sight.

“I’m so happy to talk with her, She’s an adorable girl.” But I forgot ask to her name because I was too excited with her. I didn’t know when I could meet her again. Might be in another time. I looked at the watch clock showing at 08:30 PM. I must go home because I’m back to activity again tomorrow.
