Chapter 1
Today was just like any other day
The birds were chirping in the early morning, kids flooding in and around the school, mingling with their friends and complaining about their classes
Everybody followed their usual sociable routine… Everybody except for him. Antisepticeye, the school’s lone bad boy and every girl’s dream guy. At 17 years old, he had sleeves of tattoos and almost every piercing imaginable. He was quite tall and fairly muscular, but had nice smooth pale skin and neon green hair. His soft baby blue eyes matched with his strong facial structure made girls weak in the knees. However, it wasn’t the girls of his school he was after.
You see, Anti has a secret. Absolutely nobody knew this, and nobody would ever find out… he was gay. It’s not that he was ashamed of it, oh no no no. It’s because he knew if he told people he were gay, he would lose his tough bad boy reputation. He would be seen as weak and be targeted
So, in order to avoid that, he keeps his true identity a secret. But that doesn’t mean he won’t check out a cute guy every now and then… there’s a few guys in his classes who’ve caught his attention, as a matter of fact.
Darkiplier was one of those guys. What could he say, he liked guys with big builds! Dark was tall, taller than Anti was! He had massive muscles, and was fairly quiet as well. He was mysterious, handsome, and as his name implies, dark. Nobody knew what was going on in his mind, but god Anti would kill to see even a fraction of what he thought about on a daily basis.
However there was 2 other guys. Phantom Sharp and MadPat. Phantom, how to even describe him… he had jet black hair with red highlights, gorgeous brown eyes, and a mild muscular build. He was around the same physical build as Anti actually. But mentally? He was the smartest kid in their class, straight A student with the highest GPA in the entire school. He spent his time in the school library, studying anything and everything.
MadPat was basically the opposite of them all however. He was small with very little build, cute curly brown hair and hazel brown eyes. His face was very smooth but still had a strong jawline and good cheekbones, it was just softer than the other two male’s facial structures
These boys all had at least one class with Anti though for obvious reasons never talked to him. However, that never stopped Anti from thinking about them. He'd dream about them all day in class, and nobody ever questioned why he wasn’t paying attention or taking notes for the class test coming up. It’s not like he was better than bribing teachers for better grades. So, he’d do and think how he pleased.
Chapter 2
Today was the first day of winter, frost on the windows and kids playing in the snowy weather, pelting each other with snowballs and making snowmen
It was an overall peaceful day, considering the teachers at school’s gave the students winter-related activities
Currently, all the high school students were outside for their lunches, playing just as they would’ve if they were young kids. All except Anti.
Anti was sat in the background, under a tree, watching everybody have fun. He didn’t have anybody to play with, as his bad boy reputation meant having no friends. Of course, he wasn’t lonely for long…
Only 20 minutes into the upperclassmen recess, Anti was interrupted by a small teenager. Madpat, specifically. The smaller of the two had tapped his shoulder timidly “Excuse me..?”
Anti turns around, confused and a little surprised. Mad of all people, approaching him? Such a soft, nice boy, talking to Anti? It was unheard of, impossible even. But despite his astonishment, he found his voice and spoke “Yes, what is it?”
“Well, uh… I was wondering, if you wanted to.. Play in the snow with me? You just seemed so lonely over here..”
Pause. Mad asking Anti to play in the snow? Everybody at this point was watching them, curious to see Anti’s next move, most placing bets he’d even fight the poor kid or embarrass him in front of the whole school.
“Sure.” Anti stated, simply. You could never tell from his stone cold face, but he was beaming internally, he was so happy Mad had asked him. He hadn’t played in the snow since he was such a young kid, he missed it. And having that experience with somebody he was so fond of? Only made the thought much better.
Mad smiled brightly “Come on then! We can build some snow people and see which one is the best!” he exclaimed brightly and ran off, expecting Anti to follow him, which of course he did.
The other kids were baffled, absolutely bewildered. Anti hadn’t talked to another person in any form of kind for years, not since primary school of course. But Mad saw something in Anti that nobody else could. He saw a good side to him. He didn’t know how or if he was even right about it, but he was almost sure that Anti wasn’t as bad as their classmates had made him out to be.
Chapter 3
So here we are, Anti and Mad playing in the snow for their 30 minute mandatory break from classes. Of course, the other kids were watching with interest. “How on earth did this nobody kid get Anti’s attention?! He’s not even popular, let alone known!” one of the cheer girls whined, wishing it were her playing in the snow with Anti.
But Anti didn’t care about popularity. He didn’t care about looks, or anything like that. He was interested in good personalities. People who would actually care about him and other people’s wellbeing. Anti hated snotty brats, spoiled kids, and anybody who was more selfish than they should be. Sure, taking the last donut is fine. But crying because you got the wrong IPhone for Christmas? That’s excessive.
Anti and Mad were building a happy little snowman, using erasers and pencils instead of rocks and sticks for the face and arms.
“This looks so good! I love it!” beamed Mad, his eyes as bright as his smile as he looked at Anti. The loner couldn’t help but smile back, feeling infected with the brunette’s happiness “Yeah.. It looks pretty good, considering we’re usin’ school supplies,” commented Anti, fixing one of the arms. That only made Mad smile, hearing the school’s bad boy agree that their creation looked good.
After some time, there was a whole family of snow people! Though sadly, the bell had soon rung to signal class would be starting soon. So the boys got up, Anti about to leave before Mad steps in front of him “Hey, Anti! Um.. I was wondering, would you like to hang out..? I’m free all of this weekend!” what?? Mad, asking Anti to hang out?? No kid had asked Anti to hang out since middle school, and that… that ended in major disaster. What would he do to Mad? Pummel him into the ground? Ruin his school reputation? Leave him tied in a locker?
He’s about to respond. Anti looks up at Mad, thinking of his next move, before his mouth opens, “Sure, why not. Could be cool.”
Chapter 4
What? He’s joking, he must be! Why on Earth would the AntiSepticEye want to hang out with a low-status nerdy kid?
Nobody expected him to agree to hanging out. But Anti just walked off and headed to class, like any other normal day. Mad however was beaming with excitement. He just made a new, cool friend! A bit handsome too… but, that’s besides the point! Can’t look at him that way. If the girls knew… he shivered in fear as he began walking to his class, in which he was almost late for.
After school, the boys decided to meet out at the side of the school, where Anti had parked his car. “Woah! That’s your car?? It looks so new, and expensive!” Mad exclaimed as he looked over the car, witnessing its shimmer in the afternoon sunlight “Yep, she’s a beaut. I’ve had her for about a year now.” The two got in the car “So, whose house are we going to?” Anti asked, turning to the brunette “Uh… I was thinking we'd go to yours?” “Sure, we can go to my place. It’s a bit messy though.” he shrugs and began to drive to his house, humming to the sound of whatever was playing on the radio.
Some time after driving they finally pull up to a nice house, spruce wood and white paint with black window rims
“Wow! This is your home??” “Yeah, what of it?” “It’s really nice!” Mad smiles
Anti goes to the door and unlocks it…
Inside the house was dark, but Mad could tell it was very well decorated when lit up. Nice furniture and lots of space.
