Sewerdiferous

His gelatinous body quivered and roiled as Blobby slithered from one intersecting sewer pipe to another. He filled his lungs with the sewerdiferous aromas that permeated the air surrounding him. How could anyone not enjoy starting their day this way? Why would anyone choose to live in a world that didn’t smell like the one he grew up in?

Blobby and his species emerged from the slime and ooze that coated sewer pipes and septic systems. Their viscous bodies allow them to mold their shapes, permitting them access into major sewer lines and small household pipes. Wherever a sewerdiferous smell lingers, one of Blobby’s cousins is close by.

After existing in the sewer pipes for decades, Blobby’s great-grandfather decided to explore the world above. It was a huge mistake. Unrestrained by pipe sizes, the creature let his body grow to massive proportions. It didn’t take long for the old creature to miss his home in the sewers and try to return, but alas, he had grown too large. His frustration turned to anger, and he attacked his surroundings. Humans finally destroyed him in an epic battle. The sadistic humans made a movie about it called “The Blob.”

Blobby and his cousins learned from the old man’s folly. They remain in the pipes, cesspools, and culverts, where their only enemy is Drano and there is no shortage of sewerdiferous smelling air.
