Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory Crossover

Bubbles, Buttercup and Bunny sat around a table taking turns

playing checkers to pass the time as Dexter busily searched his way

through the matrix prison database.

"I'm afraid we won't be able to get a map because there is no map to

be gotten. It's programmed in a way that only shows bits and pieces

of what the maps are made of without specifying which order they've

been coded to be located at." Dexter said with a sigh as he

scratched the back of his head.

"Are there any other options?" Bunny asked as she moved one of

her checkers pieces.

"There are, but | need to find the coding attached to our persons

before we can move forward." Dexter said turning toward Bunny

before standing up and walking to the turkey sandwich vending

button. "I need a snack."

"He's going to get tired of those things way faster if he keeps it up."

Bunny said only to look down with a face of terror as Buttercup triple

jumped three of her pieces. "How the crud...?"

"Art of warfare my dear." Buttercup said with a smirk.

"At least you're staying in the game longer than me." Bubbles said

humbly. "Most people can't beat Buttercup at checkers."

Dexter came back eating his sandwich like he hadn't eaten the

whole day. As Dexter sat down he began looking once again.

"Is there anything fun to do besides checkers?" Bubbles asked

looking bored.

"There is an endless crossword puzzle you can do, but that gets

boring fast too." Bunny said sighing.

"I'd rather dig a ditch than play another game of checkers." Whined

Bubbles.

"Come over here and help me then." Dexter said to Bubbles patting

a chair next to him.

Bubbles went over and sat by him, but gasped as she looked up at

the screen filled with nothing but coding.

"Do you see that?" Dexter said pointing at some coding. "That

particular section is the coding that says what you can and can not

do."

Bubbles looked where he was pointing to wishing she knew more

about what she was trying to read. In one line of coding he was

typing what looked like utter complete nonsense to her. He then

proceeded to search to edit a few more lines of coding after that and

opted to save.

"Try flying everyone." Dexter said as he stood from his seat and

began to fly around the room himself. 'Wow... so this is what it's like.’

Dexter thought only having flown in his dreams.

Bunny, Bubbles and Buttercup all began to fly without difficulties as

well.

"| coded things so everyone should have the same amount of

powers." Dexter said testing out his own punch.

"Do you think it'll give us a fair shot? There are four of them plus

Blossom." Buttercup said as she began looking like she was ready to

fight.

"| couldn't turn off Blossom's powers without the quartet noticing...

so yeah we're looking at a challenge." Dexter said as they started

Sparring. "The only option we'll have is to pick them off one at a time

together."

"It sounds underhanded, but | guess that's the only way we're going

to win." Buttercup said frowning slightly.

"It looks like we're as ready as we'll ever be. Let's go and hunt our

first target." Dexter said turning to Bunny. "So how do we get out of

here?"

"Follow me." Bunny said leading them up to a tunnel and outside.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary when they looked around flying

up above a cloud, but there seemed to be an eerie silence that none

of them could seem to shake. They looked over to the castle which

now seemed more menacing than ever. Suddenly the buildings were

flattened to the ground like a sheet of paper and walls started to rise

all around them.

"OH MY GOD THEY KILLED ALL THEIR CITIZENS!" Bubbles

shreaked.

"Relax, those were probably just NPC's programmed to serve them."

Dexter explained calmly.

The walls rose around them leaving them inside a room with four

exits. Suddenly Mandark showed up on one of the walls laughing his

usual annoying laugh. Blossom sat rather stiffly on his lap as if she

were a giant action figure. Mojo Jojo sat in the background typing on

a laptop.

"Ah hahaha, AH HA HA HA HAAA! You foolish fools! Do you think

programming a few useless powers will stop us from getting the

perfect formula for our perfect race?" Mandark said menacingly.

"The idea of a ‘perfect race’ is sickening. You're no better than Adolf

Hitler!" Dexter said frowning deeply and looking disgusted as

Mandark wrapped his hands around Blossom's waist pulling her

closer.

"YOU GET YOUR CRUMMY ASS NERD HANDS OFF MY SISTER!"

Buttercup yelled glaring at Mandark. "No offense Dexter."

"None taken." Dexter said frowning in deep disgust.

"What have you done to our sister?" Bubbles said more calmly, but

equally as angry.

"Oh, the question you should really be asking is what haven't |

done?" Mandark said smirking as he dug his nose deep into

Blossom's hair, smelling it deeply.

"I'm not surprised you would stoop so low Mandark... after all no one

with a free will would want someone like you." Bunny said smirking.

"Oh, it's you." Mandark said coldly to Bunny. "I didn't see you since

you're always hiding in holes and never facing the situations you're

dealt with."

"I'll admit hiding like a coward isn't honorable, but using people like

tools is far worse." Bunny retorted.

Smirking maliciously Mandark began sliding his hand up and down

Blossom's thigh, close the her skirt making them all feel more

uncomfortable and sickened.

"| may use people, but | get what | want and | want you all dead. If

you don't make it out of that maze in the next hour to the castle all

the rooms will shrink down until your bodies implode... and then

you'll be dead of coarse." Mandark said smirking evilly.

"Why didn't you just kill us off quickly when you had the chance

instead of playing these stupid games with us?" Dexter asked

annoyed.

"Why not? Me and my companions love seeing you idiots suffer."

Mandark chuckled beaming with a type of glee that you might see on

a rabid dog. Mojo however looked quite stressed and scared for his

life typing even more quickly.

Taking a deep breath Dexter turned to the Powerpuffs looking them

all in the eyes. They had a look of terror and sadness on their faces

Dexter only knew too well.

"We can save them..." Dexter said keeping his voice soft and loving.

"... But the only way that will happen is if we save ourselves. Let's go

solve this maze."

They nodded and Bubbles flew to him hugging him tightly. Dexter

responded by hugging her back tightly, kissing her deeply and

lovingly. The sight of this was visually making Mandark angry as his

face was turning as red as the sun. He turned his screen off and

there was nothing left, but a confusing maze that looked similar to a

Rubix cube.

"Okay, the only way out of this is with speed and logic. If we

remember the general location of the castle we'll at least stand a

chance." Dexter said looking deeply in thought. "We were facing the

castle all along so we'll want to go into the door on the wall Mandark

was just on."

The others nodded and followed him several rooms forward. By the

twentieth room Dexter stopped in midair and held his hand out for

them to stop.

"Now we need to find a way down. | think any further and we'll pass

it." Dexter said looking for a door in the floor.

"How can we go down without a door?" Buttercup said landing on

the bottom of the room and then stomping one of her feet up and

down.

"Duh you guys!" Bubbles said as she started using her laser vision to

cut a hole in the floor.

"Why was | not the first to think of that?" Dexter said face palming.

"Don't worry, you're not really that familiar with our powers so how

could you know?" Bubbles said a they turned and started burning

their way through room after room.

After about thirty rooms Dexter stopped them once again.

"| think we need to start moving forward once again." Dexter said

nervously looking at how small the rooms had gotten. "We have to

speed up even more if we're going to have any shot of getting out of

here."

"Yeah... | like you guys and all, but | need my personal space."

Bunny said looking around nervously as well.

Going forward once more they eventually reached a brick wall. The

rooms were now as big as broom closets making it impossible for

them to all fit in one room comfortably.

"Can we break through the wall?" Bunny asked nervously as she

watched the walls close in another inch.

"Let's see." Buttercup said heating the wall with her laser vision and

then punching the wall only to have a bruised, burnt hand. "DAMN

IT! | HATE THAT!"

"It's just like | feared. We're going to have to try and find a door or

window." Dexter said frowning. "We'll just have to keep going right

until we find something."

They all nodded in agreement and started going right. The doorways

were so small by then that they had to use their laser vision to get

through. A small, circular window came into vision and Dexter didn't

hesitate to kick it in before he started pulling the Powerpuffs in with

him. The room behind them almost instantly shrank to the size ofa

shoe box as Bubbles entered the room last. Looking back they all

looked horrified and relieved at the same time. Dexter sat down on

the floor to catch his breath. He could feel the adrenaline still

pumping in his veins.

"What type of room is this?" Bunny asked as she looked around only

to see a kung fu fighting ring made of cement.

The floor was covered in a deep, dark red that could only be

compared to a rose. On the walls were shelves upon shelves of

delicate looking china plates, cups and other dishes. Dexter looked

up and raised an eye brow.

"Well from the looks of it we're in a tournament room for kung fu

fighters." Dexter said standing up and straightening his glasses to

get a better look. "What is this doing here though?"

"It does seem a tad out of place doesn't it?"Bunny said walking up to

and around it.

Just then Mojo Jojo entered the room in a karate uniform tightening

his belt. Looking over and seeing them he raised an eye brow.

"How the hell did you miserable brats get into my training facilities

which is to say how did you get into the area which | use to make

myself stronger in hand to hand combat?" Mojo asked looking rather

annoyed.

"Through your window." Buttercup said pointing to the broken

window.

"Didn't your parents ever teach you it's rude to break other people's

property that is to say you should not cause damage to items and

things that do not belong to you?" Mojo said shaking a finger at

them.

"Excuse me sir..." Dexter said walking up to him."But if we hadn't

broken through the window in question we would have surely ended

up as a pile of mashed human flesh and bone."

"That is not my problem." Mojo said grumpily. "You should have

known better than to challenge the quartet anyways. By challenging

us as a whole you've also made me your enemy." Mojo then

proceeded to jump into the ring. "You can only proceed forward after

you kill me."

"Mojo, you're bad but we're not going to kill you." Bubbles said as

she sat cross legged on the floor.

Mojo glared as Dexter and the other two Powerpuffs followed suit.

"Do you want to die that is to say do you want to lose your pathetic

lives? I'll kill you and by that | will end your pathetic lives!" Mojo said

as his eyes grew watery and red.

"No one wants to die." Bunny said. "I saw you in the background last

time Mandark was threatening us. You're not his lacky are you?"

"Lam his lacky... and with the knowledge I've gained from him | will

defeat you Powerpuffs once and for all! THAT IS TO SAY YOU WILL

PAY FOR ALL THE TIMES YOU'VE MADE A FOOL OF ME! I WILL

NO LONGER BE YOUR SHADOW. | WAS CREATED THE SAME

WAY YOU BRATS WERE AND YET SOMEHOW I'M HATED AND

YOU'RE LOVED? THAT'S NOT RIGHT!" Mojo began yelling and

screaming in inaudible monkey sounds.

"You could be loved too Mojo, but you destroy every damn thing you

touch and only put technology to use to destroy even more stuff."

Buttercup spat at Mojo. "People hate you because you're usually

causing all types of inconveniences for everyone on purpose."

"BUT THAT'S WHY | DESTROY STUFF!" Mojo screamed his face

turning red as he began jumping up and down.

As Mojo was throwing his tantrum Dexter came up punching Mojo

hard in the jaw making him go unconscious.

"I'm sorry, but we can't grant your death wish." Dexter said laying him

on the floor and checking his pulse getting a good look at him. "He

looks like he's been under a lot of stress for a very long time."

"That's not surprising." Bubbles said coming up beside Dexter.

"Every time we usually see him he's always an angry mess."

"That's not healthy." Dexter said shaking his head. "This may sound

like a strange question, but has he ever went to see a therapist

about his anger issues?"

"No, we've always put him in jail for destroying the buildings."

Bubbles answered with a slightly guilty tone.

"Hmm... let's not take him to jail this time." Dexter said picking up the

unconscious primate putting him gently over his shoulder. "I have a

better idea that could help both him and the town."

The Powerpuffs all exchanged weary glances at this.

"Don't worry, | Know what I'm doing." Dexter said giving thema

thumbs up.

Leaving the room they found themselves in a long chilly hallway filled

with paintings of Princess. The only things giving off any light were

dozens of torches on the stone walls. There was an evil presence

that could be felt everywhere. A bright light could be seen at the end

of the hall which they headed straight for. The room they came into

was not like any room they had ever seen. Instead of a floor there

was a field of grass. Neat lines of fruit trees could be seen going for

miles. In the distance they could make out a few people having a

picnic.

"We should probably keep our distance everyone." Dexter said

squinting his eyes to see better. "We can't be sure if they're friends

or foes."

"But we need to communicate with someone to get out of here."

Buttercup said in a slightly annoyed tone.

"If they're our enemy they will do everything in their power to stop us

from getting out." Dexter said patiently as he went over and started

picking a strange, purple colored apple.

"Speaking of stopping us from getting out, how do you know that fruit

your picking isn't poison?" Buttercup said flying and grabbing it from

Dexter's hand.

"That's nonsense, why would they keep poisonous plants in the royal

castle?" Dexter said as he picked another one and sniffed it out of

Curiosity.

"It could be for security purposes." Buttercup said taking a bite

before she looked at the apple with surprise and scarfed the rest of it

down.

Dexter took a cautious bite and gasped in shock at the flood of

flavors the one fruit contained. It was like someone took all the fruits

that ever existed and shoved them all into the same place. It was like

a volcano of tart and sweet flavors in his mouth. Suddenly the people

from the picnic became aware of their presence and were flying up

to them. Upon closer inspection it was Him and Princess.

"Who the hell gave you permission to eat my fruit?" Princess said

arrogantly. "You should throw it up NOW!"

Buttercup just smirked and picked another, taking a huge bite out of

it.

"Make us your royal pain in the highness." Buttercup said wiping her

mouth with the back of her hand.

At this Princess’ face turned red with anger and she jumped up and

down.

"NO ONE INSULTS PRINCESS MORBUCKS NO ONE AND I'LL BE

DAMNED IF YOU GET TO DIGEST MY FRUIT!" Princess yelled as

Him snickered, but then stopped as Princess turned to him. "What's

so funny? You're supposed to be on my team!"

"Oh, it's not you Princess. Mandark had a plan to kill these worms

eating your apples, but it looks like he failed." Him pointed out

snaking his way around Princess’ shoulder. "You should make him

take responsibility, but I'll pick up his slack."

"That's good to hear... NOW GO KILL THEM! KILL THEM KILL

THEM!" Princess said still angry.

"Do | have to kill them right away though? Can't | just toy with them?"

Him said turning into one of the apples.

"Good grief that's the reason they always beat you!" Princess said

face palming.

"Hmm, speaking of getting beaten why are you carrying Mojo over

your shoulder?" Him said to Dexter getting uncomfortably close to

him.

"It's none of your damn business and that's all you need to know."

Dexter said looking irritated.

"That's not a nice thing to say." Him said getting so close his face

was a mere inch from Dexter's.

"Well you're a very gross person." Dexter said wrinkling his nose at

the smell of death and sulfur.

"You won't be saying that in Hell will you?" Him said smiling very

wickedly. "This is my domain you have entered. You've all foolishly

taken part of the fruit that wasn't meant for you so you're trapped

here until you kill me or you die."

At this point Dexter could feel everyone's eyes on him and he wasn't

sure what to do. The colorful grass began turning into burned,

charred rock and the trees were transforming into thorny bushes.

The sun turned into a blood red moon and showers of stars soon

started to crash into the ground exposing molten lava.

"Oh my God!" Buttercup screamed as she narrowly missed one of

the falling stars.

Flying for the exit they all tried to leave, but an invisible barrier

stopped them in their tracks. Dexter threw Mojo into the hallway

since he hadn't eaten any of the fruit and turned to face Him and

Princess for the fight he would have to face for his friends and for his

life.
