Introduction
This is for D.K. Shepard's "Keep It 100 Challenge" which you can read and enter here
This is a microfiction and the music is U2's cover of Lou Reed's "Satellite of Love"
One Hundred Seconds
Why does one hundred seconds take so long to pass when you are waiting for work to finish, or waiting for a bus or train or a lover to call? Then when you are with the one you love, and the weekend comes one hundred seconds disappears as quickly as the sparks from a Roman Candle.
That is what I always find, but I do love the beautiful moments.

I love the inclusion of songs and I always look forward to playing the one you select over your writing to see what vibe it gives.

Awww, love the ending.
Time always passes super fast when we're having a good time. Loved this!
This is so relatable.
Last line is so poignant.
Oh I love what you did with the prompt, Mike! Very relatable perspective on the subjective experience of passing time!
Great work. There is really no explanation to that phenomenon of living.
