Ominoros, the planet my team thought we could stop on, is dangerous and information needs to be updated immediately. If you’re seeing this message, then assume that I did not make it off of this planet alive. If this makes it to the hands of any admin from Jorst Tech, mark the last known location of Raymond Infino of Starburst Team as a class 9 planet.
I don’t have much time, so I’ll make this as quick as possible. Our spacecraft had a fuel leakage that we had to take care of immediately, Ominoros was the only known salvage planet near us at the time, so we made an emergency landing there and prepared to salvage materials for repairs. We followed emergency salvage precautions: 5 members in the spacecraft, 4 members on the salvage mission. I was part of the salvage mission, I partnered with Lincoln and we had no trouble with the salvage. We found iron and silicon for repairs to store on the spacecraft, and as we were mining, we got a distress call from Preston and Kensley. We rushed to their location, but it was too late.
Their bodies were contaminated by some unknown substance, we did not analyze the substance, but to briefly describe it: their suits had punctures that leaked a green watery liquid. I have images that we took with our visor cameras, but no samples. Whatever that liquid is, it rotted their bodies to the point of skeletal decay by the time we got there. We should have gotten samples, but I was not going to stick around to collect anything while a potential threat was nearby.
The mining cave where we found the pair had several bugs of unknown origin, Ominoros is not capable of breeding life, nor is it habitable by carbon based life, so we ran from there. There are no pictures of the bugs to provide, but the only description I can give based on what I saw was a mix between a mosquito and a wasp. These are fast creatures that presumably travel in swarms. At least a swarm of them, like a couple dozen or so, chased us out of the cave, and only more gathered to the swarm as we got to the craft. When we got to the craft, we told the team to go into immediate lockdown and seal all entryways.
Well, I just saw that one of the vitals of my team just went dark, so needless to say that my time is running its course and our current protection is only delaying the inevitable. These bugs ate through metal of the exterior of the craft and we all went into the escape pods, which evidently takes them much longer to chew through. That’s all I have to report, I should only have about a minute or two left to send this, but…Well I’ll make a different message. Send.

Hello, to whoever sees this message, send this to the family of Raymond Infino. It’s Raymond, sorry…I guess I’m not going to make it, huh…Don’t worry if you hear metal tearing, just listen to me, even if it’s hard. Mom, Dad, I love you, thank you for supporting me in my dreams to travel. Jana, you are the best thing that’s happened to my life, don’t let our boy see this, just tell him that I went out like the hero he sees me as, ok? I’m sorry I don’t have much time to say any words, but you three are important to me, and just know that I really wish I didn’t go out this early, but I love everyone that’s been apart of my life. These expeditions were a nice way to explore the universe, but please remember me as a loving father, a friend, a husband, and heh…Everything in between. Thank you. Send.
