Mayhem in Stone Henge (Organic Version)

Here I am celebrating one of the greatest heritages in the world: Stone Henge. What a joy it is to spend solstice with like minded people. Away from the city stress, I can be at peace with myself. Alas, what should be my favourite time of the year has gone tits-up. My ears vibrate to the sound of irritable humming and squeaky gibberish. When I look above the stone pillars, what resembles a flying dustbin is hovering and clacking around the stones.

I hear my soul sisters cry in anger, and quite rightly so. It would be a big scoop for my job, but I plan to write a positive article. I follow the hideous thing to find the culprit. Why am I not surprised it’s him?

“Gong-Gi, you blithering idiot!” I March to him and attempt to yank the control off him, he turns and sticks his tongue. You wouldn’t believe he’s thirty-two with the way he acts. He’s an embarrassment. It’s miracle he’s got clothes on!

Gong-Gi smirks.”It’s only a bit of fun!”

My teeth clatter as I howl. “You’re disrupting one of the most important celebrations of the year.”

Gong-Gi shrugged.”Oh Solstice? Nothing special about that. It’s just stones and stuff. I’m not harming anybody.”

“You’ve just upset the entire crowd with your flying dustbin.”

“It’s not a flying dustbin, it’s a Denki-Spider.”

I manage to snatch the remote and deactivate the what-ever-he-calls-it. “A product made by a man who endorses human trafficking and deforestation has no place in Stone Henge!”

“Since when did you ever care about that?” Gong-Gi charged into me for the remote back. “All you’ve wanted to do is destroy me for 7 years.”

"You're being disrespectful, and you're ruining the experience for everyone here. You need to stop," I say in my classic form tone. How he only got 30 days in jail for trying to marry a seventeen-year-old is frightening. All those women who came forward, and yet he’s still free. Of course I wanna destroy him.

“You lost your dream job cause you couldn’t get over me,” Gong-Gi laughed.

“At least I’ve never been arrested,” I blurt out. “Do you want to go back to jail?”

I must have hit a nerve cause Gong-Gi stepped back. He kept his eyes on the ground and wouldn’t attempt to look at me or above. Without saying another word, he packed up his things and left.

I turned around myself and saw people gathered around me as if I was Stone Henge. “I’m sorry about him. He won’t be bothering us again! Now he’s gone, I’m glad that we can come back together and make sure that this sacred space is respected and celebrated."

The other people nodded in agreement, and someone offered me a cup of tea. They treated my like royalty. I know a lot of people hate me for speaking my truth, but it’s part of the job. As I sip the warm cinnamon liquid, I could feel taste the fragrant camaraderie.

Mayhem in Stone Henge (AI edition)

The sun was rose over Stonehenge, and the air was filled with the sound of chanting and music. Elaine Jinx, a respected journalist, had come to celebrate the summer solstice at the ancient site. She was there to soak up the atmosphere and write about the experience for her readers.

But her peace was shattered when she spotted Gong-Gi, a former pop-star, playing with his drones. The machines were buzzing around, disturbing the sacred space and interrupting the celebrations. Elaine felt her heart rate increasing as she watched the drones fly above the crowd, their mechanical hum disrupting the tranquil sounds of the ceremony.

Elaine marched up to Gong-Gi and ordered him to stop playing with his drones. Gong-Gi was dismissive, saying that he was just having some harmless fun. Elaine could feel her frustration mounting as she tried to reason with him.

"Harmless fun? You're disturbing the sacred space with those drones. You need to stop," Elaine said, her voice laced with urgency.

Gong-Gi smirked, "Oh, lighten up. It's just a few drones. It's not like they're hurting anyone."

Elaine was not impressed. She found his behavior disrespectful and told him so. Gong-Gi mocked her, but Elaine stood her ground. She was not going to let him ruin the solstice celebrations.

"You're being incredibly disrespectful, and you're ruining the experience for everyone here. You need to stop," Elaine said, her tone firm.

Their argument quickly escalated, and Gong-Gi's drones continued to fly around, causing chaos. Elaine was furious. She could see that other people were being disturbed by the noise, and she was determined to put a stop to it.

"Can't you see that you're ruining this for everyone? You're being incredibly selfish," Elaine shouted, her voice rising above the hum of the drones.

Gong-Gi was pessimistic, but he was also flirty. Even though he was in a relationship with Taeyang, who was fourteen years younger than him, he still couldn't resist flirting with other women. Elaine found this behavior unacceptable, and she called him out on it.

"You're being disrespectful to everyone here, and you're flirting with me? That's completely unacceptable," Elaine said, her voice laced with anger.

Gong-Gi was taken aback. He had never been spoken to so directly before. But he couldn't deny that Elaine had a point. As Gong-Gi packed up his things and left, Elaine turned to the other people at the site and apologized for the disruption. "I'm sorry that we had to deal with that," she said. "But I'm glad that we were able to come together and make sure that this sacred space was respected."

The other people nodded in agreement, and someone offered Elaine a cup of tea. As she sipped the warm liquid, she felt a sense of camaraderie with the other people at the site. They had all come together to celebrate the solstice, and they had all worked together to protect the site from those who would disrespect it.

As the day wore on, Elaine spent time exploring the site and talking to the other people who were there. She listened as they shared stories and experiences, and she felt a sense of connection to the land and the people around her.

As the sun began to set, Elaine knew that it was time for her to leave. She said goodbye to the other people at the site and began to make her way back to her car. As she walked, she felt a sense of peace and contentment wash over her. She had done what she could to protect the sacred space of Stonehenge, and she had made some new friends along the way.

Which one did you think turned out the best?

The AI version reads more smoothly (as one would expect), but your story was more colorful, less predictable, more passionate, more ... human. 😍Love this experiment! I'm fascinated with anything having to do with AI.

Your version is so much better. AI used too much exposition IMO 😁
