The one thing on a corporal's mind is to go to the ball hand in hand with a certain celebrity.
He slid into her DMs. He posted on her channel. He did everything short of looking up her number and calling her on the phone. Salista, pop singer extraordinaire, made it a challenge for any Marine to take her to the Marine Corps Ball just a few weeks away. She made short videos eliciting young, male Marines to accompany her to the ball.
Corporal Fernando Smithson took it upon himself to finally make a video himself.
He put lotion on his black skin, wore his Blue Dress “A” uniform and performed a little dance. She noticed and chose him immediately.
