Make up a New Dance
Delawareans declare a new holiday.
The music movements looked sure and true. The rhythm mixed with the melody made the dance all the more enticing. Delaware Dance Day excited people into being part of the grand view of their lives.
This November 18, scores of people made up new dances that corresponded to the labors and joys of the First State.
“It’s just amazing to see all of these men and women, boys and girls all getting together to have fun on this day. I’m glad the weather held up,” Gilla Culp said with a smile as wide as the Twin Bridges.
“It’s so perfect.”
