How did I ever get to prison?

One day I am all cuddled in bed with my favorite person and the next day I am flying across the road. The day was storming and the wind must have been blowing about 70 miles an hour. I know I was going fast an hour! All of a sudden I came to a standstill next to a large cement wall.

I had fallen on top of two cut trees. The trees appeared to have been recently cut down. I was so embarrassed to be so dirty. And even to have some of their beautiful leaves attached to me. Oh, however, could this have happened? Where ever is my favorite little girl?

Is she okay? The very last thing I remember is the car door opening, both doors at the same time, and out the door I went and then I was flying. I didn't know I could fly.

I got scared and started to cry when I heard something say, "You are safe now. You are with us and we will watch over you!"

My response then was, who said that? I looked up to see a nice clear sky with barely a cloud up there. Then I looked back and saw the cement wall. I looked to my left and my right and saw the trees that were cut down.

Was it the trees speaking to me?

Yes, the trees were there supporting me with my fear and helping me to feel better. Their soothing voice and kind words did help. I then said, now what? I can't live here!

"This is only temporary," the one tree told me. Then the other tree said, "You will be here for only a short time as some guards patrol this wall daily and once in a while weekly. They will be able to tell you are lost and missing your person and they you!"

Sure enough, that day two guards stopped and picked me up and moved me inside the prison where they worked. I was cleaned up by the kitchen staff and told that they would put my picture out on social media and my people would find me.

I was so excited and so happy that I was with people who would care for me and love me while I waited. So many nice people who would spend time with me. Talking to me and joking with me. I learned that when some people tease you, it means they like you!

It took several weeks for my family to find me. When they did I was brushed and cleaned up and given a new ribbon and my teeth were cleaned and whitened.

I was never so happy to see anyone ever as when little Patrick came to the prison to take me home. He started to cry as he saw me, grabbed me in a big hug, and said, "Don't you worry Wabooz, we are never coming back here again!"
