Look Through Any Window
An Architectural Drabble

Led Zeppelin: Physical Graffiti
At 96 and 98 St. Mark's Place in the East Village neighbourhood of New York City are two buildings with many windows, some are open, some have their curtains drawn.
Some people want their privacy while others want to see those who are looking in on them.
Some like to show off their possessions, flaunting their acquisitions. They always leave their curtains open even at night, lighting their room to say,
"Look what I have"
Some like to shut their curtains, to separate themselves from the world outside.
This is what happens in almost every neighbourhood all over the world.

Pretty much true.
This seems fitting for New York, which we so often associate with noise and energy and life. It's an interesting thought Mike, how some people are happy for their rooms (or lives) to be on full display, and how others shut everyone out. Food for thought:)
In a few words this drabble is all about living our lives in our own ways. Good job,
Oh my, that's a crowded drabble and image
This reminds me of my street. Some neighbors flaunt their stuff with open curtains, while others prefer privacy with theirs drawn.
