She didn't have a name. Not formally. When she was mentioned at all, it was in reference to, or regarding. But never directly.
She was a mere shadow, a blemish on the wall, unworthy of wiping away.
Unwanted, abandoned, neglected, spoiled and surrendered by a stranger.
She was content amongst the trees and the vining flowers, never to be picked.
Reclaimed by the earth, returning from whence she came.
