Talia walks into the office, and sees a tall brown skin muscular man. He’s on the phone with one of his employees, he pointed at the seat.. Talia sits down

Roman: (mouthing) I will be right with you

Talia knods her head, while he’s on the phone, looking around in his office. Notice pictures. Then she turns directly to him.

Roman: Yes, we need this done no later than the 15, and the event planned no later that 20.. Thank you ( hangs up) I’m sorry about that.

Talia: it’s fine, I understand how deadlines can be.

Roman: that’s good to hear (gets up from his desk and comes around towards her, with his hand out.) welcome aboard to Dalton Enterprises

Talia: (takes his hand and shakes it) thank you for this opportunity, sir.

Roman: Please call me Roman, and no problem. We can use all the help here.

Talia: You mean “you” can use the help, since I’m ur assistant after all (chuckling)

Roman: (laughing) Nicely done and ur right.

Talia takes her hand back, playing around with her pen.. walking towards the window..

Talia: So.. tell me about Dalton Enterprises. How should I deal and what is to be expected with this company?

Roman: Well (sitting against his desk) with Dalton Enterprises, we go far and beyond for people who needs help, within the community and schools, and the neighborhood, and a whole lot more.

Talia: okay, well that’s good to know. I’ve read a few things about this company.. That there’s a downfall or should I say a “flair”

Roman: You’re right about that.. (walks towards her near the window) I see that you know ur stuff.

Talia: I know enough, just 50% of this company, the other percent... I will have to see for myself.. But hey, I’m ur assistant.. (walking away slowly from Roman, she slightly brushed against him, catching her breath and biting on her lower lip.) So what would you like for me to know and do? (Grabbing her notebook, looking up at him.. waiting for him to speak)

Roman: (hands in his pocket) are you always this straight forward?

Talia: When it comes to my job.. always

Roman pulls up a chair, sits in front of her, hands folded. Smiling.. Looking at her curiously

Roman: Well (sits back in his seat) I have three overbooked meetings that needs to be set. This week, on Tuesday morning at 11:00am and Thursday morning..

Talia: (writes her notes) you have an interview Thursday morning, would you like for me to switch it out for the afternoon? So there’s no conflict?( looks up at Roman)

Roman: Yeah you can do that.. He watches her carefully

He watches her carefully, studying her every move. Talia pulls her skirt down. Roman looks Talia.. suddenly a smirk comes on his face, she looks up

Talia: Is everything okay?

Roman: Yeah, everything is cool. How are you feeling, by the way?

Talia finished writing on the notepad and looked up at him?

Talia: what do you mean?

Roman:(chuckling) just wanted to make sure that ur comfortable that’s all

Talia: wait a minute… we’re you studying me?

Roman: it’s a gift that I can’t seem to shake (watching Talia head towards the desk, gathering her stuff) it tends to linger with me, ( gets up from the chair)

Talia: We’ll you better keep it in check, otherwise it’s going to get you into trouble with a lot of people

Roman walks towards the office door and opens it

Roman: I promise I will keep it in check, for you

Talia: we shall see,(pats him on the chest) see you Monday Mr. Ramirez

Roman: I’m looking forward to it (watching Talia walk towards the elevator) and by the way, you can call me Roman

Talia walks into the elevator, waves at him

Roman closes the door behind, rubbing his chin. He walks towards his desk and starts making a phone call

Roman: Hey Dom!! How’s life treating you? That’s good to hear that you’re getting back into the swing of things, I need to ask you a favor.. can you do a background check for me? Okay her name is Talia Cain… okay thank you, be safe
