Knocks from the Forbidden Space"

--

By Iwan SolehPublished 2 years ago 2 min read

Once upon a time, in a quaint little town nestled between rolling hills and babbling brooks, there was a peculiar house with a bright red door. The house had stood there for ages, but no one dared to venture inside because it was said to be haunted—or worse, cursed.

Rumors circulated about strange noises emanating from within, whispers of knocks that seemed to come from a space beyond our understanding. Locals, intrigued yet apprehensive, would gather at the edge of the property, exchanging nervous glances as the knocks echoed in the air.

One sunny afternoon, a group of adventurous teenagers decided they'd had enough of the mystery. Jake, the self-proclaimed leader, rallied his friends, including Lily, the brainiac of the bunch, and Max, the resident jokester. Armed with flashlights, they stood before the ominous red door, exchanging hesitant glances.

With a collective shrug and a "why not?" attitude, Jake swung the door open, revealing a dimly lit hallway leading to who-knows-where. The knocks grew louder as they ventured further, sending shivers down their spines. It was as if the space beyond the door had a heartbeat of its own.

The group stumbled upon a room filled with peculiar gadgets and strange contraptions. Lily, always the curious one, couldn't resist tinkering with a particularly odd-looking device. As she did, the knocks intensified, creating an eerie harmony with the hum of the mysterious gadget.

Suddenly, the room seemed to warp and twist, transporting them to a place unlike anything they'd ever seen. It was a forbidden space, a dimension where reality danced on the edge of imagination. Strange creatures with neon-colored fur and three eyes greeted them, speaking in a language that sounded like a symphony of peculiar sounds.

Despite the initial fear, the teens found themselves caught up in the whimsical beauty of the forbidden space. They rode on the backs of floating creatures, tasted fruits that changed flavors with every bite, and danced with ethereal beings under a sky painted with colors unseen on Earth.

As the knocks persisted, the teens realized the forbidden space was a living, breathing entity. It fed on the curiosity of those who dared to open the red door. And in return, it offered an adventure beyond their wildest dreams.

Eventually, the teens made their way back to the red door, their hearts full of wonder. The knocks faded, and the door swung shut behind them. The townspeople, who had watched the whole spectacle from a safe distance, saw the teens emerge with wide eyes and grins plastered on their faces.

From that day forward, the red door was no longer avoided but embraced. The forbidden space became a rite of passage for the daring souls of the town, proving that sometimes, the most extraordinary adventures come from answering the knocks from the unknown. And so, the little town became a place where the forbidden was not feared but celebrated, a testament to the magic that awaited those willing to take a chance on the mysteries that lay beyond a bright red door.
