Oh. Right memory problems. The... the blue fish had memory problems.

She and... the orange guy... what was his name? Marlo? Mar.. Marlin?

She thought that if they just kept going, they would escape their problems.
If only it worked that way.
What do we do? We swim.
You're not supposed to swim if you fall overboard. You're supposed to tread water and wait for someone to come for you.

See, you're not supposed to swim, because the water is vast and blue, and you can't tell which direction you're going, so a lot of people will swim further away from land while trying to reach it.

Joke's on them. I've known how to use the sky get my bearings since I was five. Perks of being a boyscout and all.

Wait. No. That... that wasn't the boyscouts. That was just me.

Boyscouts came later. Aligned with my interests. Didn't like the group, but the projects were fun.

So. I know which direction land is. I know which direction I'm going in. I think. I hope. It's getting harder to keep going.

I just hope I make it in time.

I met Jason when I was five years old. I could say that I loved him from the moment I saw him. He was so handsome to me and I felt in awe by his presence. When they introduced him as the new kid in school, I wanted to be his friend right away. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember his smile and how he didn't seem shy. He appeared confident and ready to learn. I waved at him and said "hello," before anyone else could even say a word. He sat next to me, and I asked him if he wanted to be friends. '20/20'
"Do It Again" the track that would ultimately open the Beach Boys final album on Capitol Records which was released on February 10th 1969 had originally been released as a single in August of 1968. The track was the first of many post-Pet Sounds era throwbacks to the early Beach Boys sound which would become continually more cliched and eventually lead the Beach Boys to the level of self-parody they would eventually succumb to in the 1980s while their closest contemporaries The Beatles nearing the end of their run in 1969 would go on to be viewed as the most influential band of all time. However, the song itself is not bad on its surface, and it opens with a futuristic sounding (for 1969) drumbeat captured by then-Beach Boys engineer Stephen Desper using tape delays on the drums performed by Dennis Wilson and John Guerin. The song has been re-recorded numerous times over the years on various Beach Boys-related projects most notably the 2011 re-recording at Capitol studios featuring the five surviving Beach Boys at the time backed instrumentally by various members of both the Brian Wilson Band and Mike Loves touring "Beach Boys" to promote the then upcoming Beach Boys 50th Anniversary reunion tour in 2012. The hammering and power drill sound at the end of the song was an excerpt from a track called "Workshop" that was to be a part of the uncompleted "SMiLE" album.
