Rebirth of Humanity: Chapter 0

By Chris PhillipsPublished 4 years ago 3 min read
Prologue: Chapter 0

Before the birth of the known universe, and the concept of time, existed a powerful primordial being. The embodiment of darkness itself. The being could also be described as the canvas, on which the multiverse was created. Spawned from this entity, were 10 offspring in it's likeness. The primordial aspects of darkness and evil, that would go on to spread pandemonium across worlds.

-Belial, the embodiment of Arrogance

-Lilith, the embodiment of Lust

-Mammon, the embodiment of Greed

-Astaroth, the embodiment of Hate

-Leviathan, the embodiment of Envy

-Asmodeus, the embodiment of Rage

-Ayin, the embodiment of Despair

-Belphegor, the embodiment of Sloth

-Beezlebub, the embodiment of Gluttony

-Mara, the embodiment of Fear

It could be said, that despite the unprecedented amount of damage and suffering caused through the universes by these beings, that perhaps there was a greater reason for it. However, after certain events and a rebellion against their mother, a plan was hatched to fuse these beings within a group of elite warriors to make the ultimate weapons. The current and updated versions, of the dark embodiments so to speak. Thus, sparking the birth of a secret organization, known as Kurai Yohei and the dark super agents. Each embodiment was fused to human vessel, transforming them into the current incarnation of a primordial devil. A problem was discovered, when it was revealed that a normal human vessel could not contain Belial. It was then realized that the embodiment of chaos, brought a mortal daughter into the world, who would turn out to be a vessel completely compatible with the entity.

Several years later in the present time, on a rather breezy night in the east coast of Okinawa, a certain beautiful young woman would be sitting on top of a skyscraper. Gazing upon the city in the distance, the woman would rest her arm on her knee, as her sapphire gems would admired the ocean. The wind blew through her luscious brown hair. Jaakuna Warasaki, the current embodiment of pride and arrogance, was seemingly in deep thought, as she contemplated a whole plethora of thoughts in her mind.

The woman would pull her phone out of the lining of her jacket, and check the past few messages that were sent. All of them from her soldiers, informing her of basic routine reports going on back at headquarters. She responded back, before putting her phone back in her jacket. Giving a good stretch, she raised her arms over her head, before popping her neck a bit. She figured a nice meal at the local mexican cafe, would be nice before heading home for the night. There was a few unusual spiritual energies around that she sensed. There was really no telling in this time frame, who they were aligned with. The world, especially around this city, had many hybrids, and supernatural creatures in the guise of a human. Some hostile, some not so much. Only those highly aware could point them out. However, Jaakuna would merely go on as normal, until someone gave her a reason to retaliate.

Jaakuna: "Hmph.. Nothing much going on tonight. I could go for a nice fajita dinner. It'll save me some time from having to cook tonight." she said, casually hopping off the skyscraper onto the alleyway below.

Making sure no one saw her, she continued on and walked along the sidewalk a few blocks, as she headed towards the restaurant to grab some food. As Jaakuna walked toward the restaurant her mind was a bit elsewhere. She looked at the ground slightly, daydreaming a tad, as she strolled along. Her hands in the pockets of her cropped black blazer, as her hips swayed with elegance. Her cheeks jiggling with every step within her tight black pants, causing a few pedestrians to do a double take as they passed her. Not paying them much attention, her mind was elsewhere. Born into this world an anomaly, the journey would be filled with trials. The decision to live in this world, as both human and devil, and yet... neither.
