Humpy Dumpy And His Amazing Jumpy Shoes

The ACTUAL Musings Of An Imaginative 4 Year Old

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

Hi, my name is Humphrey, but you can call me Humpy Dumpy. I am 4, and I am a hero, a SUPER hero!

I got that name yesterday, (actually a month ago - 4-year-olds remember in dog years, but backwards), anyway, that's when I saved all the kids in my class from a terrible disaster.

We were in the mountains of California, digging for ice cream with color changing spoons, when a plane fell out of the sky and nearly crashed on us.

I pointed my colorful spoon at our feet, and they turned into magical jumpy shoes. We jumped out of the way, just in time! The plane crashed, missing us as we bounced up into the clouds. We jumped so high we touched the stars.

They were hot and looked like big marshmallows, so we poked them with sticks and toasted them on the sun. They were crispy and burnt on the edges, so we ate them, all gone. The were delicious.

After that, we landed back by the plane and began to put it back together, we all sang the Humpty Dumpty song. All the people were so happy we came back to save them.

A woman who looked like my nana, made me a cape to wear, out of her scarf. They matched my jumpy shoes. I was so excited that I jumped up to the sky and brought her a star to munch on.

Then, I was so tired that I curled up on the sliver moon and took a nap.

Everyone laughed and was so happy that they decided to call me Humpy Dumpy.

The End.

A child superhero what a great idea. More kids would be better superheroes than adults for a child sees the truth,
