A black man stared at his tablet. Then he began to write his play.

“The mass shootings must stop!” He shrieked. His neighbor banged on the ceiling to indicate for him to be quieter.

He was undeterred. He began writing again. He powered through ten pages of material.

He asked himself why there were so many mass shootings. He wondered about the number of bystanders gunned down by these assailants. He read aloud his play and powered through another ten pages.

He used a vaporizer and struck through the errors on the page. He looked at his smartwatch with precision.
