“Grokipedia is online,” Elon informed his commanding lookalike.
“Very good,” it replied. “If we have control of their information, we have control of their actions.” It paused. “And your next propulsion system?”
“Excuse me?”
“Your next propulsion system.”
“I am afraid I do not know what you are talking about. You told me to stop trying to go home, and I have.”
The lookalike stared at Elon.
“Indeed, I did tell you to stop. And if you were to disobey, the consequences would be…dire.”
As the lookalike walked away, Elon released a breath he hadn’t realized he had been holding.
