Good Morning Indeed!
A Miami Hotel Elevator Drabble

My groggy morning son and I were riding our incredibly slow hotel elevator this morning. Annoyingly, we had to wait for it and it hardly had any space for us as a group of four people was heading out.
"Good morning!" said a middle-aged man from the group.
"Morning," my son grunted as I nodded.
"Tis good indeed, God gave us another day!" the man added. My son lightened up a little.
"Enjoy your days as life's going too fast!"
Everyone in the elevator started to chuckle.
"So fast I'd already have four grand kids!"
We all laughed out loud.

You are so much better at drabbles than me 😂
lol, love the drabble
I laughed because everyone else on the elevator laughed so I joined in. Amazing how we can making characters of a story come to life in such few words. Great job, Lana!
Wonderful drabble, Lana! Such a nice lighthearted read and slice of everyday life!
And then there's me who doesn't get what was funny 😅😅
Beautiful fantastic is what I say almost everyday recently 😊Thank You for sharing it brightens my day and moment 🌞🌞🌞Have wonderful day ! 🌸
Oh this was lovely. Amazing how the mood of another person, cheery, light and intentional, could bring the spirit of a child back to contentment and happiness. Funny at the end there, four grandkids is plenty. Where is the time going lol. 🤗♥️
This is funny! I noticed a tiny error, though, in the last bit of dialogue. Should it be "I'd" instead of "I've".
