“We need more Jesus!” Fessie Manaker exclaimed.

“Yes, throw jet fuel on a diesel fire. That’s the best way to do it,” Tobias Watkins said with enough sardonic wit to slather on a biscuit.

“I’m serious. We have to consider our Lord and Savior in this case.”

“So medical science just retreats.”

God blesses the doctor’s to do their work.”

Did he bless them with years of study and work they had to do, too?”

Fessie stopped. “Of course he blessed them then and now.”

“So with all of these blessings, what’s the point of study and work then, Fessie?”
