Frozen
Winter is a particularly fun season - A Drabble

As I walked through the snowy woods, a playful magpie rested on the treetops under the dancing snowflakes.
The wild rabbits began to dig deep under a pine tree. Slowly, a frozen, pale, stiff human hand emerged from its snowy grave.
As the furry creatures dug deeper, a lifeless human body was revealed.
Snowflakes had been dancing a quiet winter ballet, unaware of the mortal dangers, unaware of the hidden death that lay underneath them.
They were the only witnesses of the crime.
They became accomplices of the most haunting murder the town ever knew.
How could the snowflakes know?

This story really brings out the contrast between the peaceful beauty of the snowfall and the dark, unsettling discovery beneath it. The idea of the snowflakes being unaware yet somehow complicit in the crime adds a haunting touch.
Oh, a very chilling tale
I think it's phenomenal the way you've balanced the beauty of nature with the gruesomeness of the crime. This was so clever. Excellent.
Beautifully dark. I love the line about the quiet winter ballet. Haunting 💜 C x
Oh wow, I wonder what actually happened. Would you be continuing this?
Oh wow, this is pretty gruesome, Susan. Loved the gradual tension build-up.
Ay! Ay! They're accomplices!
Awww so sad and scary. Winter is very dangerous. Love your drabble.
