Freedom From The Illusion

True Happiness

By Kelli Sheckler-AmsdenPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

She spun in circles, carefree and happy, contently watching as life passed by.

One day, she noticed a small pony passing, bold and adventurous. Unkept.

She called out a greeting from her stand. The small pony approached her and asked, "why are you spinning around on this carousel, when you could be roaming, wild and free?"

She thought for a moment, and then as unpredictable as the wind, she stepped off of her circling pedestal and into her next adventure.
