Severing ties with ignorance.

Superman wasn’t invincible and neither is Mother Earth. Her delicate song, interrupted. Timeless melodies transformed to desperate cries upon muted ears.

Free will has always been the solution. Billions of answers fail to participate in combating the Radical changes attacking the future. Terraforming is not only plausible, it's recommended.

A/N: I obviously couldn’t post this to non-fiction due to the word count. This micro was inspired by the picture found on unsplash. Why, oh why would you have a landfill by the ocean? It defies logic. Thank you for reading.

I guess because they're running out of places to put the rubbish. 🤔 Wall-E springs to mind.

I've often said, and truly believe, humans are the absolute worst thing on earth. Evolution should have stopped with apes.

  • So true: ‘ Timeless melodies transformed to desperate cries upon muted ears.“ What a mess we’ve made of the earth. We’re supposed to be caretakers.

Stunning, Lamar. and befuddles me too. There are so many things my fellow mankind does that befuddles me. I was writing about Morocco recently and about the darkest side of snake charmers...just never ceases to confuse, amaze and disgust me....the attitudes the species has to our world and its other inhabitants. Loved this little bit of dark and horrible truth.

It’s probably local community created without the government paying attention. I see people just throwing garbage out their car window on the expressway. Great topic to write about 👍🏽

  • Lamar, you spoke volumes in a few, well-chosen words. A beautiful plea. I can feel your hesitation that humans might never fix this problem, but your hope that we do. Bravo!

It is a travesty! And those poor goats trying to clean up and do their part. At least burn the debris, please!

  • Why indeed Lamar. You might as well just dump the trash straight in the water. Has to be said and you say it so well

  • Really enjoyed this Lamar! This is a micro with sooooo much story in it 👌👌👌

  • Unfortunately, us humans are Mother Earth's kryptonite 🥺

  • Powerfully & succinctly said, Lamar.

"Timeless melodies transformed to desperate cries upon muted ears." No one listens anymore. They don't want to hear the truth. Lies sound so much sweeter.

That subtitles it such a call to arms for this little micro.
