He pressed play on their class recording again. Melanie went first and blabbered on about some of the approved causes of the Civil War. She was nice, much nicer than most of his classmates. Live presentation and pen and paper had been Mr. Sanders answer to education’s problems, simple and effective. To be honest, Zach didn’t mind. There were two types of people who used LLM’s to do their homework: idiots and people like Zach who were too smart to be bothered, at least by his own estimation. There were better uses of his time.
Zach didn’t blame Mr. Sanders; he’d skated through freshman year on ChatGPT produced essays before most of the teachers even knew what AI stood for. By the time they even had policies around its use, Zach’s models were so well tuned as to be undetectable by any of the shit monitors they tried to employ.
Melanie wrapped up and took a flurry of questions. She always elected to go first; Zach appreciated that. People that went first always got the most questions.
The upload pinged complete. For good measure, he loaded in an export of her Insta and TikTok feeds. More data equaled better results, and thankfully she wasn’t digitally shy.
The cursor flashed in the textbox. For good measure, he modeled the GUI to the Insta IM one. It helped his immersion, if a bit of overkill.
“Hey Melanie.”
The three little dots inside a bubble appeared.
“Hey Zach, you looked really handsome today.”
