Louise was name after her great grandmother’s mother. Who had the same gift as she. The most horror reflection that Louise saw in the Mirror was an old lady dying in the fire with her cats.

She cried for days before this event happen. She sees the old ladies cats gathered around the old lady trying to protect her from the flames. The old lady died of heart attack before she felt the heat of the flames around her.

Louise’s mother Collette could not understand her daughter. She cries for no reason. Collette mother would asked her daughter, “Why are you crying, darling?”

“Mom, I had another bad dream but I was awake when I have this dream.” Louise told her mother this when she was five.

Louise would tell her mother about her horrible dreams and a few weeks later it would be in the news. Collette did not know how to respond to her daughter’s gift but send her daughter to a child’s psychiatrist .

Louise therapist told her mother she have anxiety. Louise psychiatrist would give her pills to take but it never stop her from seeing things in the future or stop the overwhelming emotions that come with her dreams.

Louise dream of these items but never understand why she dream of them.

The gifts was given explanation. The ruby ring was to stop her from having bad dreams. The red blanket was to cover the broken mirror. The Mirror will always show Louise the future only she can see and hear. The red blanket will give Louise control of seeing or not seeing the future. All Louise have to do is cover the mirror with the red blanket.

The first thing Louise saw in the mirror was her grandfather in a white coffin. Louise cried for days. A month after Louise birthday her grandfather died.

Louise keep the red blanket over the broken mirror. She always wear the red ruby ring . Whenever she takes it off, flashes of images enter her mind.

I really love how you told this story! I agree with some of the comments below, it feels like a fairy tale (which I love) but with mystery and intrigue! I was really captivated by this -- great job!! 😍😍

  • So engaging , great story

  • I related so much with Louise crying uncontrollably because I'm like that too. I would see a pic of a sad monkey in FB and I wouldn't be able to stop crying. I don't know whether it's a blessing or a curse being an empath and feeling things so intensely. I loved your story very much!
