Echoes of Forgotten

It all begins with a boy named Percy. The boy was living a simple and boring life with not many friends in school, always being quiet, not speaking much. Same at home, doesn’t talk much with his parents but his parents always motivate him to socialize by talking to people, making friends, going outside to play or going to an arcade to have fun. Percy always declines all this advice and stays in his comfort zone.

Percy used to be a cheerful kid once going out playing all other stuff. Something changed him so that his parents were never able to identify and since their son doesn’t talk much, they were able to connect with him. There were some events in his childhood that led him to this type of behavior. At the age of 9 Percy while coming late to the home from school. After a week’s disappearance Percy was found close to the house near some trees fainted. When Percy regained consciousness the police and his family asked where he was, he didn’t remember anything. Afterwards Percy stays quiet, doesn’t talk much or doesn’t try socializing much.

There were some aftereffects of this event. Percy used to have weird dreams that didn’t

make any sense to him so he ignored them and didn’t talk about this to anyone, not even his parents. Sometime Percy felt like he was in that place that disturbed him a bit but didn’t understand these dreams have a deeper meaning.

Time passed and then time came when Percy must face his past again. A similar type of disappearance occurred. This time it was a 19-year-old Julie. She was the last seen by students leaving college and going back home. Like Percy’s disappearance but this time after extensive search she was not found. So, the sheriff of the county calls the citizens for help. Poster of Julie and calls to help by citizens were put on throughout the whole county. So, Percy while coming back home from his uncle’s house saw the whole thing.

He instantly knew that it was like his disappearance. So, he wanted to solve this whole mystery and stop this once and for all.

Afterwards he joined the search party in the area where he disappeared. He thoroughly searched in the start but unable to find anything to move forward with but this time he was not backing out at any cost. So, he repeatedly started searching in that area but lost for a while. After searching he felt that Julie was in that area. Without any solid evidence, he didn’t tell any about it. He kept everything to himself and decided to investigate it and find Julie.

Suddenly he had one of those weird dreams but this time there was something different about those dreams like there were some lines on the black walls that he was not able to understand. Suddenly, he saw a shadow looking at him from room entrance. After a few seconds it started walking towards him. Percy, being scared from him, ran away and broke the lamp in the room, then Percy woke up. After this dream Percy has some questions. Why do the room walls change and have bizarre lines on them, and first would it be a dream if the same place that I am seeing is changing.

Keeping all these questions aside he focused on searching. He noticed that their guy named Smith in the party looked suspicious. Percy once saw him going to the forest alone without anyone from the search party. So, he decides to keep track of the smith that he goes every day to the forest.

After a week of following, he saw a smith going into a house deep in wood. After Smith went into that house. Percy came in front of the house and decided to plan to search for that house the next day. While going back home. Percy found a figurine of superman, but he was not able to remember anything about it that figurine had a ‘P’ written on its left foot. That day when he came back to house and slept. While sleeping Percy had the dream that he was confined to that house and how did he escaped from that place, and this also explained that the superman figurine was the one Percy used to play with when he was a small kid.

Afterwards he was in that house again. Where he noticed that light broken in the previous dream was same in this dream it’s still broken that was astonishing for him. He saw a bright standing in front of him and blinking, like communicating. Next morning Percy figured out it was morse code. He deciphered it. It was from girl Alice who had died there.

She told Percy to save Julie and stop Smith.

After that Percy searched some records and found out that Alice is Smith daughter who was found that in house. Now Smith is taking revenge on society. So, Percy told everything to the Sheriff and convinced him that they will raid out the house tomorrow.

After that Percy came home with relief that he had done something great. Then he slept and was back in that house in that dream. There was a new weird drawing on the room wall. Which tense up Percy a bit. Then he woke up and knew that drawing had something to do with their plan of raid out will not be enough.

Next day the raid time came up and Percy told Sheriff the thing. Still sheriff Stilinski agreed with the whole plan. The plan was executed well enough but there was no sign of Julie. So, Percy went into the room where the drawing was but there was no drawing there. Percy first thought that he was psycho but after looking in the room he the broken which indicated the drawing was erased from the wall. So, he focused and remembered the whole drawing and figured out the drawing was a map of house with a small line stretching away from the house and room was drawn and written a ‘B’ at one side of it.

So, Percy understood that there was an underground basement, and its entrance is in the living room of the house. He told the sheriff everything and then found the entrance in the living room. When they reached inside the basement. Smith was holding a knife to Julie’s throat. So, Percy stopped everyone in raid out. Because he has an ace up his sleeve. Percy was wearing Linalool perfume from which Smith was allergic. After encountering Linalool Simth immediately got fainted. So, the raid out ended with Julie safely returning home that night Percy had the dream where Alice thanked Percy for everything, he did also tell him that Julie and you are communicating with each other by me. I told Julie to draw a map of the house for you.

“I am free now thanks to you Percy.” Juile Said

Saying this, the bright shadow disappeared.

Next Smith woke up and Sheriff brought Percy to tell him everything. Percy told everything. Smith cried. While leaving Smith questioned Percy about Linalool.

“How did you know about Linalool that I was allergic to it.”

Percy Smiled and said: “Alice told me not to kill and gave me your linalool weakness.”

Next day Smith was sentenced 6 years of jail for kidnapping. Julie and her family also thanked Percy and his family for saving Julie. After that Percy had no dreams like those he had before.
