Dragon Queen Warrior Saga

'The river ran backwards on the day the Queen vanished.'

Maze lived in a rundown castle. One night, she was woken up by a deep scary voice by her bedside window that was very narrow.

Maze used to be a princess before an Army of dragons destroyed her family’s Castle. The king and Queen, Maze’s parents were burned to death by fire-breathing dragons. Maze promised herself, she would avenge her parents and her kingdom of their demise. That’s how she became the Dragon Warrior. No dragon has ever defeated her. A Magic Sorcerer had given her a shield that protected her from the fire-breathing dragons.

She got up quickly and put on her Warrior armor.

“Who’s there? Show yourself !!!”, she shouted. She raised her sword high. The sword shone bright, its glare was very blinding.

“I will meet you at the Deathbed Valley at sundown tomorrow night.” Said the deep scary voice.

Above the castle was a flying dragon in place. It gave her the message. It disappeared in thin air after it gave Maze the message.

The Deathbed Valley was where no dragon could set its paws. Dragons are forbidden in the Deathbed Valley.

Maze was not sure what kind of creature she would meet at Deathbed Valley. She was sure it wouldn’t be a dragon.

Maze made it to the Valley. The Scary deep voice called to come closer. Maze used her sword to light up the Valley, which was darkened by the trees. The moonlight had blocked. Maze saw a tall man wearing armor, like hers. She could not see his face. It was blocked by his helmet.

“ What do you want? Why did you ask to meet here in the Valley?” She asked the man in the armor.

“ To show you, there is no dragon in the Valley.”

“ Tell me something new, mate.”

“That’s right we will be mates.”

Maze had enough, “ Stop talking in riddles and get down to business!!! Why did you ask me here?!”

“ To ask you to be my bride .” He answered.

“ Why would I want to be your bride?”

“ So, we can build your kingdom to its old glory.”

“ Who are you?” Asked Maze getting very frustrated.

“ I am King Drake from a faraway kingdom, you never heard of.”

Drake showed Maze his kingdom’s shield, it had two fire-breathing dragons on it.

“ I don’t deal with dragons’ friend people.”

Drake tried to assure Maze’s reservation about him. Drake asked Maze to visit his kingdom. Maze’s encounter with King Drake was two days ago.

Maze just battled three dragons yesterday and they disappeared in thin air right before she annihilated them. Strange things had been happening since she met King Drake.

Many kings from different kingdoms have asked for her hand in marriage. Maze had refused them all.

The Deiro Kingdom was known for its wealth and its people’s talents. Legend has it, that there was massive treasure underneath the castle 🏰 but no one has ever seen it. Maze has not even tried to find her family’s treasure.

Drake was the Dragon that saved her when her parents were killed. Maze was just a toddler then. She was wandering alone in the forest. Drake was flying by and noticed a tiny figure child walking in the burn-down forest. Drake was surprised the toddler survived. Drake flew Maze back to her rundown castle. He also made sure she had servants to take care of her. He would visit her at night to make sure she was ok, as Maze got older he fell in love with her. He grew very fond of her personality and especially her courage. Drake watched her from a distance.

Will King Drake convince Maze to marry him? Who is Drake really, can he be trusted? Will Maze stay single and just battle dragons for the rest of her life?

What will become of the Deiro Kingdom and its treasures that have yet to be discovered? Will Drake tell Maze what he is?

Part 2

Maze, the Dragon Warrior was captured the night before her wedding.

She was to marry her best friend Zamphere.

Zamphere had no title but was always there to support Maze.

The wedding was set on Maze’s 25th birthday.

The wedding was to take place in Deathbed Valley.

The night before the wedding, one of the castle’s maiden told Maze

that, she would have her armor and sword shined for the wedding.

Maze thought nothing of it and allowed the maiden to have her

Armor clean.

Maze was very tired from the preparation of her wedding.

She fell into a deep sleep. That night a dragon visited, Maze.

King Drake called to Maze, but Maze would not wake up.

The dragon reached into Maze’s bedroom window and carried

her body to the Dragon Queen Lair.

Maze woke up in a room full of Dragon eggs.

Dragon Queen, Denise woke Maze up, “ You finally woke up, my darling niece.”

Dragon Queen was wearing a majestic Queen robe covered in rainbow gems on a black dragon skin material.

The Queen had her hands folded. She tapped long nails 💅 on her arms, at the same time.

She was staring deep into Maze’s eyes.

Maze answered her Aunt, “ Don’t call me that, you are no relative of mine! I despise you! You had my parents killed by your pet dragons.

Who kills their own flesh and blood sister?!”

“Your father was betrothed to me, your mother stole him from me!

Now you must die, too. You should have married King Drake! “, the Queen shouted with malice.

“What does King Drake have to do with anything ?” Maze asked, confused by her aunt.

“ Why don’t you ask him that, yourself? He will be here, soon to witness your final death.” her aunt said with a high-pitched laugh.

The dragon Queen left, Maze. She checked her surroundings, to find ways to get out before the eggs hatched.

She certainly, did not want to be dinner.

She used her special call to Zamphere. She was not sure if he would hear her. There were no windows. Maze was not certain if she was in a tower or a dungeon.

Zamphere arrived at his bride’s castle, at first light.

He was reminiscing about the first time he met, Maze.

His parents were the servants at the castle.

They adopted, Maze as their daughter when Her parents were

killed by fire-breathing dragons.

Zamphere, remember Maze are feisty little thing.

She was so cute with her pigtails. Maze used to follow him around, wherever he went. He always looked at her as his little sister.

He was always protective of her. He had to marry her to protect her from King Drake. Zamphere was protecting Maze from finding out who King Drake was.

King Drake finally arrived in his armor suit at the queen’s lair. King Drake was a very mysterious man. The Dragon Queen knew Drake’s secrets.

King Drake, opened the door where Maze was a prisoner.

“ Are you finally going to be my bride?” he asked her.

“ Never, I rather, die than be your bride! “ Maze shouted.

“ Then death it will be,” Drake told her with malice.

“ I won’t be turned into a monster! “ Maze told him.

Zamphere was going to knock on Maze’s bed chamber

in her castle, when a maiden was carrying Maze’s armor into her

room.

“ What are you doing with Maze ‘s Armor?”

“ I had it clean for the wedding.” The maiden answered.

He thought this must not be good. He quickly opened Maze’s bedroom door but saw no one. Maze never left the castle without her Amor.

Will Zamphere find Maze in time? Why must Maze marry Zamphere to save her from King Drake? Is this the end of Dragon Warrior?
