Beyond the horizons

Don't be afraid of the unknown

By MarcelPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

In an ordinary town, where the daily noise had melted into a quiet routine, there lived a boy named Alex. He was a curious and dreamy teenager, with eyes full of the desire to discover unknown worlds. Alex felt that behind the familiar horizon lay something more than mere reality. He often sat on the roof of his house and gazed into the distance, searching for clues to what lay beyond the azure sky.

One night, while flipping through the family's old photo album, Alex discovers a strange image. It was an old black-and-white photo that showed his great-grandfather, Victor, surrounded by a bright light. Alex felt a strange connection to his great-grandfather, even though he had never met him. He remembered hearing a legend about how Victor had traveled through parallel dimensions and found a portal to a supernatural realm.

Intrigued by the story behind the photo, Alex decided to investigate and find out more. So the next day he headed to the library in search of books on parallel worlds and portals to the unknown. After many hours of reading and studying, Alex began to understand the concept of parallel universes and how certain special places can be links to them.

For several weeks, Alex scoured the city for such special places. Finally, he found an old, abandoned park, overgrown with wild grass and surrounded by tall trees. In the middle of the park was an old, rusted iron gate that seemed to lead to a distant horizon. Alex felt a strange attraction to that gate and knew he had to go through it.

On a starry night, when the moon was at its peak and the air was full of mystery, Alex approached the ancient gate. Slowly, he reached out and touched the cracks in the rust. Upon contact with his hand, the gate opened noiselessly and blinding light enveloped the young adventurer.

Once the light faded, Alex realized he was in a completely different landscape. Everything was vibrant and bright and the sky was colored in hues.
