This is a favourite album of mine and is beautifully presented.

I thought this beautiful image deserved a story.

Benedictus Of The Watcher

He is the one who has climbed great heights to watch over the world and help those in need. He is blessed and passes his blessings on to those below him, the ones who are unable to climb to the heights through the rainbows and stars that adorn the holy pillar on which he now stands.

He will guide them as they wander and enlighten them when they dream. He has risen to a higher plane, but knows he was once as far down as the ones he now cares for.

He is the one they pray to, but he is no god, for he is selfless and beneficial. He helps where he can but knows his own imperfections.

On high is his place now, and he will be here until he finds where he must go next. For that to happen there must be one who climbs the holy pillar and can take his place....
