Are you in Love?

A new person entered Ritu's life, who falls in love with Ritu during college. He knows about Ritu's past, but Ritu is unable to move on from friendship. Ritu says Sahil is her best friend, but Ritu is unable to go beyond the circle of a friend. Ritu never tried to turn the pages of her life's book again,

Time passed at its own rate, but Ritu and Sahil's relationship could not proceed beyond friendship. Ritu first assumed that Sahil's love was the same as the rest of the people who would fraudulently appear to be in love with Ritu and utilize it. Will leave, but Ritu was incorrect; Sahil has never attempted to move on from a friend.

As much as Sahil was a buddy, Ritu was not cared for by any of her past boyfriends. Ritu was Sahil's first love, and she experienced the agony of heartbreak. So Ritu didn't want to break Sahil's heart; Ritu was shocked to see such a caring character in Sahil; Ritu had always desired such a partner in her life, who cares for her, knows her heart without saying anything, accepts the one who is as she is without any change, always. That's why Ritu attempted to identify these attributes in everyone; Ritu was becoming attached to Sahil.

Ritu did not want to perform any task without Sahil's help; anytime Ritu was sad or worried about anything, Ritu used to want only Sahil to explain her problem, and Sahil's absence used to annoy Ritu. She felt a little hollow without Sahil; no other buddy could cover Sahil's void. Ritu shared everything in her heart with Sahil, but Ritu was terrified to acknowledge what she had begun to feel about Sahil.

Ritu had entirely recovered from her past; Sahil's companionship had given her everything she had always desired; Ritu herself did not know when to grieve and cry on Sahil's shoulder. Ritu will habituate to it.

Ritu's dread was understandable; one would be terrified to assume the name of love when one's heart broke repeatedly. However, some unknown power was pushing her towards Sahil, on which Ritu placed no attention.

Ritu had realised she had begun to fall in love with Sahil, but she was terrified to embrace this truth.

Ritu did not want to inform Sahil about her heart condition, but because he was her friend and she couldn't hide anything from him for another day, Ritu told Sahil about her heart condition in its entirety.

Ritu said, "Sahil, we were wonderful friends before we got into a relationship, and we will always be friends no matter what happens. I believe that my love relationship does not last long, and it is often my fault. Yes, I have not been able to become a nice girlfriend, but I am a very good friend, and I expect you to listen to me as a friend and offer me advise.

Sahil was paying close attention to Ritu's statements. He told her, "Yes, I am always with you, and I will always guide you in understanding your right and wrong."

Ritu stated "Sahil, I think I've fallen in love with you, but I'm scared that if my heart breaks again, I won't be able to care for myself.

I'm afraid that if anything from my past comes between us, I won't know what to do. After being cheated in love so many times, I've realised that falling in love can't be done in an instant by glancing at someone's face at first sight. It's simply a gimmick, basically.

By being attracted, I can form a relationship with you for a few days. However, after getting to know me well, you will notice defects in me, you will want to change me, and gradually you will discover everything that was excellent about me. You'll start to become bored. This is not something that will happen just to you; it is something that may happen only to me. I understand what it's like to be in a suffocating relationship.

So maybe it's not love, but just a strong attraction.

Sahil responded to Ritu's comments after noticing the query in her eyes.

You are absolutely correct, and your concern is understandable, but comparing love to attraction is incorrect; did you think this when you were in love? Did you ever figure out the difference between love and attraction? Did you predict what would happen to you in the future?

Ritu nodded her head in response to Sahil's comments.

"I understand your fear, but we cannot stop swimming because we are afraid of drowning; we cannot stop living every day because we are afraid of dying one day; and we cannot stop loving due to fear of being cheated.

I'm not sure if you love me, Ritu, or if I've just grown accustomed to it.

But I am certain that I want to marry you because I believe you will be my perfect soulmate.

You are perfect just the way you are. How can I ever expect you to change the Ritu I love? If I can't change that, how can I love?

I'm not pressuring you to love me, Ritu; whatever you choose, I'll always be your friend.

But, Ritu, you asked for my opinion as if I were a friend, so will you answer some of my questions?

Ritu nodded yes, so please tell me

1. Can you imagine your life without me?

2. Do you miss me while you're not around?

3. Are you bothered by my problems?

4. Do you enjoy it when you make me happy?

5. Do you think of me first when you close your eyes at night?

6. Can you read my mind without saying anything?

7 Is it necessary to always be around you or to always be with you?

8. Can you tell me everything that comes to mind without hesitation?

9. Do you want me to try and change you?

10. Do you look at me the same way you did at all your previous partners, or do you look at me differently?

I need some time to think. Sahil, Ritu asks for Sahil

Of course, you can take as much time as you want, but Ritu will definitely evaluate the answers to my questions.

After all, what will Ritu say in response to Sahil's questions? Has Ritu fallen in love with Sahil to the point that she can read Sahil's mind without saying anything? Is Sahil Ritu's soulmate?

Is Ritu's life moving very slowly as a result of Sahil's arrival?
