I think you all like fairy tales

In ancient Babylonian mythology, there was a supreme god named Anu and another god named Estar.

There are theories that Anu is Istar, but istar is the female incarnation of Anu, and there are theories that Istar is the wife of Anu, or the daughter of Anu, but in short, Anu is supreme and Istar is inferior.

Istal is the god of timing and the earth goddess in Babylonian mythology. Later Generations of Christianity portray the Madonna in the image of Istal...

The original Estar was the god of timing; Every year she would make a freefall trip to the underworld to find her relatives, and before she left, she would tell her maid what to do if she didn't make it back.

Estar was then imprisoned in the underworld, where the maid followed her instructions and worked hard to bring her back to life.

The weirdness of the story is that, in order for the four Times to be like this every year, Estar travels to the underworld and dies again and again. But the myth doesn't tell you why Estal goes to the underworld every year.

If I were to tell it, it would look something like this.

At the turn of the spring and summer, Esther would think of her husband, a gentle, handsome, intelligent man, and she could still remember parting with him, singing some unknown song with joy.

After that, her husband disappeared, for several months, no word from her, she thought, her husband should be dead, his body in the underworld.

Estal wanted to go to the underworld to bring her husband back, but was the underworld an easy place to go? There was a powerful patronus there, and it was a question of her survival, not to mention the return of her husband, so before she left for the underworld, Estar instructed her maid, "If I do not return within three days, you shall go to the temple to help the other gods."

With good advice, Istal set out on her way.

After a long journey, mountains, starr finally came to the underworld, but, to find a husband of the dead is can't go to the living world, the starr helpless, not only that, in the underworld after a long time, let her mana is more and more weak, she felt her husband nearby, but he can't see, not only that, but her spirit gradually weak, I can't even go back to the world of the living.

Starr's maid to comply with Iraq entrust, starr in Iraq after the third day, they go to the temple, after some twists and turns, and finally god willing to deliver the starr, this in the world of the living god, use mana, thunderstorms, by fits and starts, in a nutshell: in the summer the phenomenon of solar terms, is god in the use of mana.

Estar experienced the power of the living in the underworld, which gradually restored her magic power, her eyes became brighter, and her body began to hover in the deep world of the underworld.

The guardian of the underworld, no match for her, bowed down.

"I will take my husband and return him with me to the world of the living..."

"Ah! Your husband has lived so well here, madam, that he may not wish to return to the living with you."

The Guardian sweeps away the gloom of the nether world, brightening everything, and Estar's husband is making love to a beautiful woman, on the desolate grounds of nether World.

Enraged, Istal joined her husband.

"Don't be angry, my dear lady. You belong to the living, he belongs to the underworld. He is here and has forgotten you." "Said the guardian.

"So he doesn't remember who I am?" Estal looked sadly at the two lovers on the floor. "How did you make him forget me?"

"Sing! "There is a song in the underworld about forgetting the living. Sing it and he forgets you."

"What kind of song is that?"

"You live in the sun

I'm floating in the shadows

You look at the beauty of the day

I looked at the nether world

You're alive

I live

Your life is what I want

But never again

My life you hate

But the final destination

life

death

You cross the river on the other side

I'll wait for you on this bank

As the guardians sang, Estar gradually forgot her journey to the underworld, and her eyes grew dim and blurred, unable to see the beautiful woman nestled next to her husband, who she saw as sweet and handsome as ever.

As she clung to her husband and listened to the guardian's song, her consciousness grew fainter and fainter, and then she fell asleep.

When she awoke again, in the middle of the next day, she was lying in her bed, and her maid was kneeling beside her, praying for her.

'Have you found your husband?

"I only remember one song."

Estal sang, the song of the underworld, to make the maid forget what had happened.

In the original answer, I posted the outline of the journey to the West, but I felt inappropriate, there was a suspicion of revealing the plot, so I wrote in the Journey to the West probably irrelevant to the Western myth.

In fact, myths are interesting, but if you look at them religiously, they're revolting, but if you look at them with appreciation, they're full of unexpected surprises.
