Once upon a time, in a small town called Almapura, a young man named Carlos. Carlos was a good soul, always willing to help others, although life had not always been easy. His grandfather, Don Pedro, had been his greatest inspiration and guide, but had died when Carlos was just a child. Since then, Carlos had dreamed of the possibility of seeing his grandfather again and telling him all the things he had learned and lived.
One day, while Carlos walked through the forest near his house, he found a small half -buried golden box on the ground. Curiosity stung him and, when he opened it, he found a brilliant silver ticket. When reading it, Carlos could not believe what he saw: "This ticket allows a visit to paradise and the opportunity to meet with a loved one who has passed to the other side."
Carlos sat under a tree, with his heart beating hard. I couldn't believe what he had in his hands. He thought of his grandfather, how he had taught him to fish, cultivate the earth and be a good person. Without thinking twice, he decided that he would use the ticket to visit his grandfather in paradise.
That night, Carlos lay early, with the ticket in his hand, and when he closed his eyes, he found himself wrapped in a warm and bright light. When he opened his eyes, he was in a place that could not be described with words. The air was fresh and scented with aromas of unknown flowers. The colors were more vivid than anything I had seen on earth. In the distance, he saw a family figure walking towards him.
-Grandfather! Carlos shouted, running towards Don Pedro.
"Carlos, my child," Don Pedro replied with a smile. I knew you would come someday.
They hugged with force, and for a moment, Carlos felt that all the time they had been separated had not existed. Don Pedro took him to a beautiful garden where they sat down. Carlos told him everything that had happened since his departure: the difficulties, the joys, his achievements and his dreams.
"Abuelo, I've always wanted to be like you, someone who does good without expecting anything in return," Carlos said.
Don Pedro smiled and nodded.
"And you've done it, Carlos." I'm very proud of you. But remember, being good does not mean not having ambitions. You can do great things and remain a good person.
They spent what seemed like hours talking, laughing and remembering old days. Carlos felt a peace and happiness that he had never experienced before. However, he knew that his time in paradise was limited.
Grandfather, I would love to stay here with you forever, but I know I can't, ”said Carlos, with tears in his eyes.
"I know, son." But remember, I will always be with you, in your heart and in your memories. And someday, we will be together again.
Carlos nodded, knowing that his grandfather was right. They said goodbye with a last hug, and Carlos felt that a warm light wrapped him again. When he opened his eyes, he was back in his bed, with the silver ticket still in his hand, now fading slowly.
The following days, Carlos felt more inspired and motivated than ever. The visit to his grandfather in Paraíso had given him a new perspective of life. He decided that he would dedicate his life to do good and follow in his grandfather's footsteps, but also to pursue his own dreams with determination.
Over time, Carlos became a great leader in his community, helping those in need and promoting everyone's well -being. Although he never talked about the magical ticket or his trip to paradise, those who knew him said there was something special in him, an inner light that illuminated everything around him.
Carlos knew that his grandfather was always with him, guiding him and supporting him from paradise. And so, he lived a full and significant life, knowing that one day he would meet his beloved grandfather in that beautiful heavenly garden.
Life in Almapura continued its course, and Carlos became a lighthouse of hope and goodness for all those around him. He founded a school for disadvantaged children, where they were not only taught to read and write, but also values of love, respect and solidarity, the same that his grandfather had instilled in him. The school was called "Don Pedro School", in honor of his grandfather, and quickly became the heart of the community.
Carlos also initiated several community development projects, such as the construction of a health center, a local market and adult training programs. All in the town joined their efforts, inspired by their tireless dedication and their vision of a better future for everyone. His example extended beyond Almapura, reaching towns and neighboring cities, who adopted their ideas and methods to improve their own communities.
One day, while Carlos worked at school, a little boy approached him with a curious question.
"Lord Carlos, how did you learn to be so good and help everyone?" Asked the boy with eyes full of admiration.
Carlos smiled and kneeling to be up to the child, he replied:
"I learned about my grandfather, Don Pedro." He taught me that goodness and generosity are the most important things in life. He always said that love is the most powerful force that exists and that we must use it to make the world a better place.
The boy nodded, understanding Carlos's words, and promised that he would also follow that path of goodness and love.
As the years passed, Carlos aged, but his spirit remained as strong and bright as ever. In his deathbed, surrounded by friends, family and students, Carlos felt a deep peace. He knew that he had lived a full and significant life, guided by his grandfather's teachings and his brief but shocking visit to Paradise.
With his last breath, Carlos closed his eyes and felt that warm light wrapping it once again. This time, it wasn't a dream. When he opened his eyes, he was in the same beautiful place where he had seen his grandfather years ago. Don Pedro was there, waiting for him with open arms.
"Over again, Carlos," said Don Pedro with a radiant smile. You have done a wonderful job. I am so proud of you.
Carlos ran to his grandfather and hugged him strongly. Words were not necessary; They both knew that they were finally together again, this time forever.
In paradise, surrounded by love and peace, Carlos knew he had fulfilled his purpose on earth. He had followed his grandfather's footsteps and left a legacy of goodness and hope that would last for generations. Now, he could enjoy eternity in the company of his beloved grandfather, in a place where time did not exist and love was eternal.
