A Nonsense Story

Just a collection of sentences from an old textbook

The other day I was thinking of a story, and I saw one of my old writing textbooks and was looking through it for some ideas I read again some of the exercises. That is when I was thinking about a nonsense story of just a collection of sentences. Who knows it just might make sense in a way. Please comment.

_____________

Mary left the room that she just entered that had the world's greatest invention of all society, the safety pin, but what is needed is a way to stop hate and it is not a safety pin and not even fear, but a chance to see a man that was dead for he followed all the rules of living to a T which was a circus for all to see.

Later on, there was an on old man who shuffled out of sight for he was not sure for he was not sure who was using the safety pin on display. All he knew was that a little girl who always ran across the playground to meet her brother, who seemed to always talk about fishing and his like for a certain kind of car that maybe that safety pin could be help to him someday.

Mary, while back in the safety pin room where she met John who was reading a book that was all about his favorite car when it should have been about the history of the safety pin so that he could answer any questions during his lecture. At this moment though he was also thinking about his special leather chair and his dog named Ben for some reason. Maybe that was his way to not think about his presentation on such a thing as a safety pin.

Along came a woman by the name of Mrs. Smith who for some reason knew all about the various resources and the inexhaustible ways to use safety pins in general. John managed to guess that all his ghost friends decided not to share with him all the necessary practicalities of this hugh safety pin that could adhere to whatever that we may need in this erratic, repetitive and even subconscious world that we seem to be living in at this moment in time.

It would seem that a safety pin could be a paradox for life in general. Safety pins can bring things together but can also let things go at the same time. So, if you happen to ever need to gather anything together even for a short time and then for some reason to let that thing or other things go the safety pin is the way to go.

As he was finishing his lecture on the safety pin the moon rose steadily in the Western sky, but was slowly becoming covered by a dark gray cloud and the wind at that moment started blowing briskly. Who knew under those dark and moody clouds that the man who gave the lecture on the safety pin was actually dead, but for some reason or other he wanted to be free of this old obligation and the woman that helped him with the lecture was actually waiting for another, but for some reason she was drawn to this man not knowing for sure that he was dead for the man who she was actually to meet was this man of safety pin knowledge. Life is strange it seems when you really start to think about things even little things like inconsequential items of living like a safety pin of all things. Attachments happen in wierd ways.

    Nicely written very interesting ♦️🌼♦️

  • This was delightfully strange and strangely delightful. Who knew a safety pin could carry the weight of philosophy, ghosts, missed meetings, and metaphors about life? Made perfect nonsense—and somehow, perfect sense. Loved it!
