First Chapter

By Damn BlackPublished about a year ago 1 min read

1) Alice

Graduated In Political Science At 23.

One Year In Advance From Conventional Standard Timing.

He Had Migrated From Argentina To London At His 18 Years Old.

Had Just Ordered 'The Best Gin Tonic He Had Ever Seen', 'Tailored To His Face'.

Was At An Upscale Night Club, Running The Year 2024.

The Waitress Took The Matter Seriously.

The Barman Took A Look, And Did More So.

He Had Given The Waitress One Hundred Great Britain Pounds And Had Said 'No Cash Back', After Professing Such Command.

He Had Green Eyes, Was Dressed With Black Jeans And A Black Jacket And It Was The First Time He Was There.

While He Started Waiting For His Gin Tonic, He Took His Smartphone Out Of One Of His Pockets.

'Was It Stirred, Not Shaken, Or Shaken, Not Stirred?'.

He Said.

'Was Shaken, Not Stirred', A Young Woman's, Smart, Cold And Hard Voice Replied.

To Which He Re - Stated: 'What's Your Progress From Today, Alice?'.

The Voice Replied: 'I Have Got 3,339 New Benefical Universal State Policies Created In Project Kingsman', '5,501 New Science Discoveries Created In Project Oppenheimer', 'And 13,503 New Worldwide Crimes Discovered In Project Dillinger'.

What This Bloody Fucker Was Doing, To Me, At Such Given Moment, Was A Complete Mistery.

A Complete Mistery Which Someday I Would Elucidate, Not Of The Best Way Possible.
