We invest in roasting equipment, ensuring that we roast always in the highest quality of coffee beans, which are carefully chosen and purchased by the roaster from respected partners such as Ethiopia and the finest farm in Kenya, Komiso, who work with a small team of professional roasters to ensure the highest quality and freshness of coffees being produced. Please note, we only roast to order, this means that the coffees won’t be in stock for many days.

Our focus is to use speciality malts on each batch of freshly roasted coffees so that we can build our relationships with growers which yield those rare delicious flavours in them. We are committed not only today but tomorrow to help grow your business by ensuring it continues to flourish.

We have a passion for great coffee. It is the essence of a fine art, and one which we have taken up with much effort and a little bit of luck to achieve. We have the same philosophy of making coffee taste as good as if you were drinking it. We like to make sure that our customers are able to relax, to enjoy, and also the most important thing - that we make the coffee taste as good as it possibly can.

It was about five years after opening the doors (we had started back up as a café) before I became hooked by good quality beans from far away places. By 2015 everything changed when Coffeelighters came into the picture but they weren't like me!

Our approach in each product we use is simple: a selection of all-natural coffees from around Africa which are carefully sourced by our experienced growers so that everyone can enjoy their natural bean. There is no top quality processing or genetically modified ingredients here; every aspect has been selected with care - nothing unnecessary. Coffee Maven began as Coffee Maven Private Limited (now CPMN), an independent Australian small business founded in 2013 focused on ethically produced specialty blends using only premium beans.

The coffee is selected by hand in our boutique home in Essex and then roasted in our flagship London factory. We roast with the best and most innovative equipment in the coffee world, which includes the latest extraction equipment, filters and heaters. The finest water and fertiliser is used to bring the finest flavour to our coffee. Our focus is on people and the environment and we believe that the best coffee is served at the right time, in the right way. We think that the coffee industry should be a platform for people, and that communities should be engaged with and supported by our coffee. We think the best coffee should be shared and with people who need it.
