The food of the day will be Brussels sprouts. Today I will talk about what I’ve been craving lately. Brussels , all day I’ve been thinking of them and today we will have a fun article on the nutritional benefit’s. Different recipes we could make including them . And other fun health facts about the wonderful vegetable. I am by no means a nitritionist nor am I prescribing . Use the information as you will . Brussel sprouts are high in folate. Folate is a compound that helps with healthy brain function. It prevents birth defects while pregnant also . Brussel sprouts are also high in vitamin k plays a role in healthy blood functioning , calcium in bones, and regulating them . With that being said it’s a natural detoxing vegetable to keep your bones healthy. This delicious cruciferis vegetable is way over your daily needs of vitamin c . The health benefits of vitamin c are very many . Needed for the formation of collagen in skin it also forms and maintains blood vessels.
Vitamin c is such a important nutrient so eating this everyday will help keep your body healthy . Needed for keeping the immune system healthy and healing wounds in the body . Sauté the veggies in soy sauce and garlic for a heart healthy and oil free combination. Cook them on a grill with other veggies on a kebab . Cut them and add them to a pancake . Eat them with rice for other important nutrients . We all know by now a carb free diet is not healthy. So make sure you also eat your potato’s too. Put them in a split pea soup or eat it with hummus . The days are always better when you get enough nutrition from healthy sources.
You could eat them with tofu or a nice glass of soy milk . Delicious and nutritious soy milk lowers the risk of breast cancers in women . Lowers hormonal issues and makes for beautiful skin . Allergic to soy milk ? Drink a nice glass of hemp or oat milk . They are high in protein and will be a healthy alternative. Put them in a sandwich with some Dave’s killer bread or make a vegan quesadilla. Eat will oil free Salsa and guacamole and in corn tortillas with the best health benefits . They are typically oil free and made from natural flours . Add onions and lots of good earth queso for a amazing flavor . Or make a veggie bowl with multiple grains inside . Like barley and quinoa . The limits are boundless and you are sure to find a way to eat delicious foods. Remember diseases don’t run in families bad dietary habits do. Let’s be better and change our lives today .
