Coffee - Consumption of choice

Did you know that espresso will become the most consumed beverage on the planet? How did espresso get into this ranking? Where was coffee first identified as safe to drink? When did the first use of espresso start? How did the first espresso shop come about?

In fact, there are many questions about where to start drinking espresso. It was so long ago that no one sincerely understands all the information. But, firstly, there is no need to say that espresso will be the most consumed drink on the planet.

Espresso start

It seems that the original trail came from Abyssinia, and also from time to time was in the vicinity of the Red Sea in the region of seven hundred rivers. Apart from these people today, other Africans of the same period have a historical past of using the pulp of coffee cherries for more than one activity such as rituals as well as for general health.

Espresso began to take on additional importance when the Arabs started growing it in their peninsulas around 1100 AD. There is an assumption that coffee was brought here by merchant ships. The Arabs began to make a drink that became quite common called gahwa, which means preventing sleep. Roasting and boiling the beans was how they built this dish. It became so beloved by one of the Arabs that they made their own Arabic wine from it, and it was very often used during rituals.

After coffee beans were discovered as a wonderful wine and medicine, someone in Arabia learned that the beans could also be used to make unusual, dull, delicious food, sometime around 1200 AD. It didn't take long after that, and everyone in Arabia was drinking coffee. Wherever you go, these people traveled, coffee accompanied them. It passed through India, North Africa, the eastern Mediterranean, and then was widely cultivated in Yemen during the fourteenth century.

Other international regions might gladly welcome these beans, if only experienced Arabs would allow them. The Arabs killed the germ of the seed, ensuring that no one else would be able to ripen the coffee if it was taken somewhere else. Carefully guarding its crops, Yemen is exactly where the main source of coffee has remained for many hundreds of years. Despite their initiatives, the beans at some point turned out to be smuggled out by pilgrims and travelers.

Coffee houses seem

Around 1475, the first espresso shop called Kiv-Khan two opens in Constantinople, shortly after coffee was introduced to Turkey, in 1554 two espresso houses open there. People came to chat, listen to songs, play games and, of course, drink espresso. Some people commonly refer to these places in Turkey as the "school of the wise" as one can learn a lot just by walking into an espresso residence and listening to the conversations.

For sixteen centuries, espresso has reached Europe through the port of Venice. Turkish warriors also brought consumption to the Balkans, Spain and North Africa. Soon the very first espresso coffee shop opens in Italy.

Many men and women also sought to ban coffee. Such as Khair Beg, the governor of Mecca, who was executed, and the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire, who productively closed many coffee residences in Turkey. Fortunately, not everyone thought about it.

Espresso Recommendations Getting there

In the early sixteenth century, espresso is sold to the New Planet by a man named John Smith. Later in the same century, the first espresso coffee shop opens in England. Coffee houses or "penny universities" charged pennies for admission and for a cup of coffee. The term "TIPS" (for service) may come from an English espresso house.

At the beginning of the 17th century, Edward Lloyd's coffee residence opens in England. The Dutch took up the commercial transportation of coffee. The main Parisian café opened in 1713 and King Louis XIV was invited to treat himself to a fine coffee tree. Sugar was originally used as an accompaniment to espresso on his court list.

Coffee in America

The espresso crop was taken out of America for improvement. By the end of the seventeenth century, 1,920 million crops were grown on the island.

Apparently eighteen hundred were invested in the hope of finding better ways to make espresso.

Coffee brewing in the twentieth century

New procedures to make espresso making easier are starting to appear everywhere. Italy creates the first commercial espresso machine. Melitta Benz can make a filter out of blotting paper. Dr. Ernest Lily manufactures a basic automatic espresso machine. Nestle invents Nescafe instant espresso. Achilles Gaggia perfects the espresso machine.

Hill Bros. begins packaging roasted espresso in vacuum cans, eventually finishing roasteries and low mills. A Japanese-American chemist named Satori Kato from Chicago invents the ultimate instant "instant" espresso.

German coffee importer Ludwig Roselius hands over some tainted coffee beans to scientists who have perfected the entire process of removing the caffeine from the beans without disturbing the taste. He sells it under the name Sanka. Sanka is launched during U. s. in 1923.

George Regular Washington, an English chemist living in Guatemala, is delighted with the powdery condensate that forms on the spout of his silver coffee flask. Immediately after learning this, he creates the first mass-produced instant coffee, which bears the name of his model called Red E Espresso.

The ban takes effect in the United States of America. Income from coffee is skyrocketing.

Brazil has approached Nestle to help find an option for their surplus coffee, and so the Nestle organization will offer freeze-dried espresso. Nestle also built the Nescafe and released it to Switzerland.

Other Fascinating Coffee Treats

The US currently imports 70 percent of the world's espresso crop.

During World War II, American soldiers were given Maxwell House fast espresso in their rations.

In Italy, Achilles Gagia perfects his espresso machine. The name Cappuccino comes from the similarity of its shade with the robes of the Capuchin monks.

Just 7 days before Woodstock, Manson's loved ones murder coffee heiress Abigail Folger as she visits her friend Sharon Tate at director Roman Polanski's home.

Starbucks takes over the coffee world

Starbucks opens its first store at Seattle's Pike Put Public Market in 1971. It causes frenzy over freshly roasted coffee beans.

Finally, espresso has become the most popular drink in the world. By 1995, over 450 billion cups were sold annually.

Existing characteristics of coffee

Now, in the 21st century, we have many different styles, grinds and flavors of coffee. In fact, we have a long way to go, despite our coffee makers. You will not find any signs of a reduction in espresso consumption. Scientists even get quite a few health benefits from drinking coffee. Consume and enjoy!
