How to choose best ground beef for cheeseburger sliders?
Stick with lean ground beef – either 90/10 (10% fat content) or 93/7 (7% fat content). You can use ground beef with a higher fat content if that is what you have on hand since you will be spooning out the extra fat and liquid.
The Best rolls for sliders:
To make these hamburger sliders, use 24 packs of buns (or two small 12 packs). I love King's Hawaiian Roll brand slider making and my favorite flavor is the original Hawaiian Sweet and Savory Butter. He can also use homemade bread.
Tips for making Hamburger Sliders:
- Scoop excess fat and liquid from the beef and avoid muddy bread.
- Lining the bottom buns with cheese and covering the beef with cheese seals in the juiciness of the beef without making the buns too moist.
- As soon as you spread the butter, apply sesame seeds so that it sticks to the buns.
- Bake without a lid to prevent the bread from sweating and becoming muddy.
What to serve with sliders?
The slider is very fun as it can be used as the main course for appetizers, lunch and dinner. It keeps it simple and offers a chilled dill pickle slider. It goes great with freshly baked potato wedges. These have the classic profile of cheeseburgers, so soak them in a homemade burger sauce or try using your favorite seasonings such as ketchup, mayonnaise and mustard.
Can I make this ahead?
Yes! The slider can also be created in advance the day before, then covered and refrigerated. If baking with a chilled slider, add about 3 minutes while baking or until the cheese is hot and melts. The slider also heats very well. To reheat the sliders: With the cover removed, heat each slider in the microwave for 1520 seconds or until the beef is heated and the cheese melts.
Note: Use it only if you like Worchester Shire
If the amount of meat is 1.5 pounds try to add 1 tablespoon of Worchester shire if you love it to the meat and the buns get to crusty so just put the cheese onto the meat and leave the top burn off cheese on the meat one will be crunchy and then once the cheese is melted take it out of the oven and then add the top buns.
